Two and a half million out of 37.4 million 登録(する)d 投票者s have 選ぶd to 投票(する) by 地位,任命する, more than 二塁打 the one million that did so during the last 選挙 in November 2019, the Correos union said.

投票者s have been lining up at 地位,任命する offices to 登録(する) for 投票(する)s and, at a time when much of the 全住民 is decamping to the coast or countryside for summer holidays, they must 完全にする and return them by July 20.

"There are bottlenecks and 列s in some 地位,任命する offices in big cities and also in the beach towns where people are already on holiday," said Alberto Perez, a Correos union leader. "We need more staff."

The 郵便の service said it had already 雇うd almost 20,000 extra staff to 扱う the 付加 workload, across 2,300 地位,任命する offices working under 延長するd 開始 hours. A third of 従業員s 予定 to be on leave had cancelled their trips to help, it 追加するd.
