WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) - Democratic U.S. 上院議員 Joe Manchin said on Thursday he would …に反対する the 指名／任命 of Julie Su as labor 長官, arguing her "進歩／革新的な background" would 妨げる her from (1)偽造する／(2)徐々に進むing 妥協s between labor and 産業 代表者／国会議員s.
Manchin said in a 声明 the labor 長官 "should have the experience to collaboratively lead both labor and 産業 to (1)偽造する／(2)徐々に進む 妥協s 許容できる to both parties" and 追加するd he had 関心s that "Su's more 進歩／革新的な background 妨げるs her from doing this."
大統領 Joe Biden 指名するd Su, a civil 権利s lawyer and former California labor commissioner who has served as a 副 labor 長官 since 2021, to become labor 長官 in February. Su 以前 served as California's labor 長官.
