Cycling-Velo d'Or awarded to be 手渡すd out in 儀式
July 17 (Reuters) - The Velo d'Or will receive an 昇格 in pomp this year with the 設立 of a 儀式 for the 年次の cycling award, organisers Velo Magazine said on Monday, putting the prestigious honour on par with its footballing 相当するもの, the Ballon d'Or.
The 儀式 will be held on Oct. 24 in Paris, and will have awards for the best men's and women's riders, 同様に as two new awards for classics and two awards for French cyclists.
"With the 創造 of new トロフィーs, 含むing a 部類 outside road cycling, the entire discipline is 代表するd at this 儀式, taking cycling into another dimension," Velo Magazine 長，指導者 editor Gilles Comte said of the award, which has been 手渡すd out since 1992.
