Rain, 日光 上げる Ivory Coast cocoa fields ahead of main 刈る, 農業者s say
ABIDJAN, July 17 (Reuters) - A mix of にわか雨s and drier, sunny （一定の）期間s in most of Ivory Coast's main cocoa growing 地域s last week formed ideal 条件s for flowers and small pods to grow ahead of the October-to-March main 刈る, 農業者s said on Monday.
The world's 最高の，を越す cocoa 生産者 is in the middle of its 雨の season, which runs 公式に from April to 中央の-November. Rains are usually abundant and often 激しい during this period.
Several 農業者s said many flowers had turned into small pods and that （一定の）期間s of sunny 天候 were helping them 生き残る. Many said they were using 化学製品s to 妨げる 病気 and 上げる 産する／生じるs.
"There are good 調印するs. Cocoa trees are starting to be 負担d with small pods," said Celestin Boa, who farms 近づく the eastern 地域 of Abengourou, where 54.7 millimetres (mm) of rain fell last week, 30.3 mm above the five-year 普通の／平均（する）.
There were 類似の 報告（する）／憶測s in the western 地域 of Soubre, where 降雨 was below 普通の／平均（する）, and in the southern 地域s of Agboville and Divo, where it was above 普通の／平均（する）.
The centre-western 地域 of Daloa saw below-普通の／平均（する） 降雨 last week, while rain was 意味ありげに above 普通の／平均（する） in the central 地域s of Bongouanou and Yamoussoukro.
農業者s there said they 推定する／予想するd main 刈る 収穫s to begin even before October if the 天候 remained sunny.
"We are 推定する／予想するing a lot of cocoa in September but will need a lot of sun during the coming weeks," said Andre Amoakon, who farms 近づく Bongouanou, where 50.7 mm of rain fell last week, 33.6 mm above 普通の／平均（する）.
