No. 9 North Carolina looks to light up Charleston Southern
No. 9 North Carolina has experienced plenty since last playing a home game earlier this month.
The Tar Heels, who have been off since Dec. 20, will look to tune up for their 近づいている 大西洋 Coast 会議／協議会 schedule with a nonconference 衝突／不一致 against Charleston Southern on Friday night in Chapel Hill, N.C.
North Carolina (8-3) had three big-time contests this month, going to New York and 落ちるing to UConn, traveling to Atlanta and coming up short versus Kentucky, and then stopping in Charlotte for a victory against 以前 undefeated Oklahoma.
The difference for the Tar Heels （機の）カム on the 防御の end in their most 最近の game.
"Our 罪／違反 is really good, but where we're 欠如（する）ing is 弁護," guard RJ Davis said. "全体にわたる, we were making the 防御の plays that needed to be made, 特に in 決定的な times."
Davis has led North Carolina in 得点する／非難する／２０ing in seven 連続した games. His 183 points in a seven-game （期間が）わたる is the most for a Tar Heel in 16 seasons.
"This stretch of basketball he has been playing is some of the best basketball I've seen," Tar Heels 今後 Armando Bacot said of Davis, who was 指名するd the 大西洋 Coast 会議／協議会 Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The Tar Heels played their only other home game this month by winning their ACC opener with a big 復帰 against Florida 明言する／公表する on Dec. 2.
Charleston Southern (4-8) snapped a three-game losing streak by 敗北・負かすing visiting Kentucky Christian 103-79 on Dec. 21 before taking a holiday bre ak ahead of the game in Chapel Hill. DJ Patrick and RJ Johnson both had 21 points versus the Knights.
The Buccaneers have gone 2-3 under 暫定的な coach Saah Nimley since Barclay Radebaugh stepped 負かす／撃墜する as coach at the end of November.
So there will be a different look for Charleston Southern from when the team visited ACC members North Carolina 明言する／公表する and Wake Forest in November. The Christmas break probably （機の）カム at a good time.

This will be the Buccaneers' final game before beginning Big South 会議／協議会 play.
