マラソン Partners 勧めるs Becle to move 株 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）ing, consider 代案／選択肢s

March 6 (Reuters) - マラソン Partners 公正，普通株主権 管理／経営 wants spirits company Becle SAB de CV, the world's largest tequila 生産者, to move its 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）ing from Mexico to the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs or review 戦略の 代案／選択肢s, 含むing a possible sale, によれば a letter seen by Reuters.
The Mexican company's 在庫／株, which has 貿易（する）d on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores since 2017, is "意味ありげに undervalued" and 管理／経営 should either relist it on another 交流 or consider bolder steps, 含むing a sale to a bigger 競争相手, Mario Cibelli, マラソン Partners' managing member, wrote to the board.
The letter, sent last month, was seen by Reuters this week.
Becle is valued at $8.5 billion and 概略で 85% of the company is owned by 大統領 Officer Juan Domingo Beckmann and his sister. The remaining 15% is held by 投資家s 含むing マラソン Partners, which owns 15 million 株, and others 含むing Fidelity and Southeastern 資産 管理／経営, regulatory filings show.
The move by マラソン Partners, which calls itself a 患者 and supportive 投資家 at Becle, is a rare example of 株主 activism in Mexico.
Cibelli said in his letter that he was 繰り返し言うing his earlier suggestion that Becle - the only major spirits company not 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d on a major 交流 - relist どこかよそで to 改善する liquidity and 許す 管理／経営 to repurchase 株 more easily.
If 管理／経営 is not ready to do that, it may be time for bigger steps, Cibelli wrote.
"We believe the most value would likely be created from a 戦略の 合併 combination that results in a larger and stronger spirits organization to better compete on the 全世界の 行う／開催する／段階," Cibelli wrote.
A Becle 代表者／国会議員 did not すぐに 答える／応じる to a request for comment.
Becle's 大臣の地位 含むs the popular Jose Cuervo tequila brand 同様に as the 広大な／多数の／重要な Jones Whiskey and Boodles Gin brands.
"Most spirits company 大臣の地位s are under-索引d to tequila in the U.S., and outside of Becle, there is no other meaningful way for competitors to 増加する their （危険などに）さらす to this popular spirit," Cibelli wrote.
He also wrote that the company's total return since it 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d 株 seven years ago has 劇的な lagged 競争相手s Davide Campari Milano, Brown-Forman, Pernod Ricard, Diageo and Remy Cointreau.
