Three killed in first 致命的な Houthi attack on Red Sea shipping, CENTCOM says

LONDON, March 6 (Reuters) - A Houthi ミサイル attack killed three seafarers on a Red Sea merchant ship on Wednesday, U.S. Central 命令（する） (CENTCOM) said, the first fatalities 報告（する）／憶測d since the Iran-提携させるd Yemeni group began strikes against shipping in one of the world's busiest 貿易（する） 小道／航路s.
The Houthis （人命などを）奪う，主張するd 責任／義務 for the attack, which 始める，決める the Greek-owned, Barbados-flagged ship True 信用／信任 燃えて around 50 航海の miles off the coast of Yemen's port of Aden.
In an earlier message on X 答える／応じるing to the Houthi （人命などを）奪う，主張する, Britain's 大使館 wrote: "At least 2 innocent sailors have died. This was the sad but 必然的な consequence of the Houthis recklessly 解雇する／砲火／射撃ing ミサイルs at international shipping. They must stop."
The Houthis have been attacking ships in the Red Sea since November in what they say is a （選挙などの）運動をする in 団結 with Palestinians during the war in Gaza.
Britain and the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs have been 開始する，打ち上げるing 報復の strikes against the Houthis, and the 確定／確認 of fatalities could lead to 圧力 for stronger 軍の 活動／戦闘.
CENTCOM said the Houthi strike also 負傷させるd at least four 乗組員 members and 原因（となる）d "重要な 損失" to the ship. Earlier, a shipping source said four 水夫s had been 厳しく 燃やすd and three were 行方不明の after the attack.
The Greek 操作者s of the True 信用／信任 said the 大型船 was drifting and on 解雇する／砲火／射撃. They said no （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） was 利用できる about the status of the 20 乗組員 and three 武装した guards on board, who 含むd 15 Filipinos, four Vietnamese, two Sri Lankans, an Indian and a Nepali 国家の.
On Thursday, two of the 犠牲者s were identified as Filipino seafarers by the Philippines' 省 for migrant 労働者s. It said in a 声明 two other Filipinos were 厳しく 負傷させるd in the attack and called for "continued 外交の 成果／努力s to de-増大する 緊張s and to 演説（する）／住所 the 原因（となる）s of the 現在の 衝突 in the Middle East".
A U.S. defence 公式の／役人 said smoke was seen coming from the True 信用／信任. The 公式の／役人, who also 拒絶する／低下するd to be identified, told Reuters a lifeboat had been seen in the water 近づく the ship.
The 部隊d Kingdom 海上の 貿易（する） 操作／手術s (UKMTO) 機関 said it had received a 報告（する）／憶測 of an 出来事/事件 54 航海の miles 南西 of Aden, which lies 近づく the 入り口 to the Red Sea, 追加するing the 大型船 had been abandoned by the 乗組員 and was "no longer under 命令（する）".
"連合 軍隊s are supporting the 大型船 and the 乗組員," UKMTO said.
Stephen Cotton, general 長官 of the International 輸送（する） 労働者s' 連合 (ITF), the 主要な seafarers union, called for 緊急の 活動／戦闘 to 保護する its members.
"We have 終始一貫して 警告するd the international community and the 海上の 産業 about the 増大するing 危険s 直面するd by seafarers in the 湾 of Aden and Red Sea. Today ... we see those 警告s tragically 確認するd," Cotton said.
Four days ago, the Rubymar, a UK-owned 本体，大部分／ばら積みの 運送／保菌者, became the first ship to 沈む as a result of a Houthi attack, after floating for two weeks with 厳しい 損失 from a ミサイル strike. All 乗組員 were 安全に 避難させるd from that 大型船.
The Houthi attacks have 混乱に陥れる／中断させるd 全世界の shipping, 軍隊ing 会社／堅いs to re-大勝する to longer and more expensive 旅行s around southern Africa. The cost of insuring a seven-day voyage through the Red Sea has risen by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
While the 民兵 has said it would attack 大型船s with links to the 部隊d Kingdom, the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs and イスラエル, shi pping 産業 sources say all ships could be at 危険.
The True 信用／信任 is owned by the Liberian-登録（する）d company True 信用／信任 Shipping and operated by the Greece-based Third January 海上の, both companies said in their 共同の 声明. They said the ship had no link to the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs.
