Spreading beef 禁止（する）s 攻撃する，衝突する Indian 農業者s, 仲買人s - and lions

MUMBAI, March 23 (Reuters) - Indian 農業者 Nitin Tarode wants to sell his old bull to help 支払う／賃金 for his sister's wedding after his income was 攻撃する，衝突する by patchy 降雨.
But he has struggled to find a 買い手 who will 支払う／賃金 a decent price because of a 禁止（する） on 虐殺（する）ing cows, bulls and bullocks in Maharashtra, the western 明言する／公表する run by 総理大臣 Narendra Modi's Hindu 国家主義者 party.
"Now I will have to take a 貸付金 for my sister's wedding," says Tarode, the oldest of five siblings and the only 収入 member of his family in Akola, nearly 600 km (370 miles) inland from Mumbai.
A 新たにするd thrust by Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to 保護する cows, worshipped by 大多数 Hindus, has の近くにd abbatoirs in Maharashtra, making it hard for 農業者s to sell their animals, and 制限s are spreading to other 明言する／公表するs.
Even lions, tigers and ヒョウs in Mumbai's 国家の park are 存在 fed chicken and mutton rather than their usual beef because the city's main abbatoir has been shut for the past two weeks, said S.D. Saste, the park's assistant conservator.
Maharashtra, India's second most populous 明言する／公表する, 延長するd a 禁止（する） on the 虐殺（する） of cows to bulls and bullocks this month and other BJP-led 明言する／公表するs such as Jharkhand and Haryana have also 強化するd 制限s on 貿易（する）ing beef.
Critics say tougher anti-beef 法律s discrim inate against イスラム教徒s, Christians and lower-caste Hindus who rely on the cheap meat for protein, and 恐れる they could 覆う the way to a 全国的な 禁止（する） that would 脅す thousands of 職業s.
NO WINDFALL
Tarode had hoped to pocket 12,000 Indian rupees ($190) from selling his bull - more than half the money he makes each month from farming and other paid 労働.

The 供給（する） of hides to tanneries across India would also be 攻撃する，衝突する, 押し進めるing up prices. Tanneries buy and 過程 animal hides and sell leather to 製造者s of shoes, handbags and 従犯者s.

Not all BJP-led 明言する／公表するs are 押し進めるing for tighter 制限s on beef. The 長，指導者 大臣 of Goa, another BJP-led 明言する／公表する, has 辞退するd to 支援する the 禁止（する）, 説 that two-fifths of people there eat beef and he 尊敬（する）・点d the 権利s of 少数，小数派s.

India has some 300 million cattle, and animals foraging for food are a familiar sight on the rubbish-strewn streets of towns and villages.
