The few 早期に movie-goers and shoppers that つまずくd across the event could be seen watching on inquisitively as the 急速な／放蕩な-paced, 衝突，墜落-filled, 劇の races took place. Some, though, were probably 自信のない what 正確に／まさに they were watching.
"Pretty much all the time," Singapore スケートをする人 Lucas Ng told Reuters when asked how often he had to explain his sport to his compatriots.
The 27-year-old part-time skate coach, who won the 500, 1,000 and 1,500 metres at the SEA Cup, is the 向こうずねing light of Singapore's small 速度(を上げる） skating fraternity and will 長，率いる to South Korea next month to appear in his fifth world 選手権s.
He finished 33rd in the 500m at last year's world 選手権s, four seconds off the gold メダル winning time. But Singapore 簡単に sending a スケートをする人 to compete 定期的に at the エリート 選手権s is a success in itself.
"From a young age I always 手配中の，お尋ね者 to 参加する winter sports as it's really extreme for us 存在 here in Singapore in a 熱帯の country on this part of the earth where we have no winter at all," he said.
OUTSIDE WEATHER
