Mexicans march against 大統領，／社長's 提案 to 許す gay marriage

MEXICO CITY, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Tens of thousands of people across Mexico marched on Saturday to 抗議する against gay marriage, challenging 大統領 Enrique Pena Nieto's 提案 to 認める same-sex marriage throughout the 伝統的に 保守的な country.
The marches were called by the 国家の 前線 for the Family, a 連合 of civil society organizations and さまざまな 宗教的な groups, and continued throughout the day from Mexico's far north to the Yucatan 半島.

"It's pulling on the noose," said 勝利者 Sanchez, a sociologist at Colegio de la Frontera Norte in Tijuana. "This comes as the 政府 is showing a 確かな sort of fragility in other areas ... and they're taking advantage of the moment."
Pena Nieto says 議会 should 審議 and settle the 問題／発行する of gay marriage.

Mexico's 最高裁判所 said last year that 法律s 制限するing marriage to a man and woman were 憲法違反の. However, many 明言する／公表する 立法機関s have not changed their 法令s to 従う, meaning couples must とじ込み／提出する 合法的な challenges on a 事例／患者-by-事例／患者 basis to get married.
