Cairo 法廷,裁判所 acquits Egyptian-American of human trafficking 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s

CAIRO, April 16 (Reuters) - A Cairo 法廷,裁判所 acquitted on Sunday an Egyptian-American woman and seven others who worked with street children and had been 拘留するd for nearly three years on human trafficking 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s, in a 事例/患者 that had raised 関心s in Washington.

Aya Hijazi, an Egyptian who 持つ/拘留するs U.S. 市民権, 設立するd Belady, an NGO that 促進するs a better life for street children.

She has been in 保護/拘留 for 33 months in 違反 of Egyptian 法律, which 明言する/公表するs that the 最大限 period for pretrial 拘留,拘置 is 24 months.

Dressed in a white 刑務所,拘置所 uniform, Hijazi stood in the courtroom cage with her husband and Belady co-創立者 Mohamed Hassanein. With 涙/ほころびs of joy streaming 負かす/撃墜する their cheeks, they 公約するd to 再開する their charity work.

"We were 延期するd for three years ... starting today, God willing, there won't be any children without 避難所," Hassanein told reporters.

"Humanity became 解放する/自由な, and the dream doesn't die. On the contrary, the dream becomes stronger," Hijazi said.

The 判決 (機の)カム two weeks after Egyptian 大統領 Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met 大統領 Donald Trump in Washington.

Hijazi and Hassanein were 逮捕(する)d in May 2014. They were (刑事)被告 of "organising a group for the 目的s of human trafficking, using children to 乱す the public peace and order in 抗議するs, and 持つ/拘留するing them for 性の 開発/利用."
