Jan 30 (Reuters) - 環境保護主義者s 告訴するd the Trump 行政 on Tuesday, (人命などを)奪う,主張するing its 回復 計画(する) for the 危うくするd Mexican wolf would instead lead to the 絶滅 of one of North America's most imperiled 哺乳動物s.

The U.S. Fish and 野性生物 Service in November 解放(する)d a program it said would 回復する the Mexican wolf to 十分な numbers in Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico by 2043, 許すing it to be 除去するd from the 危うくするd 種類 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる).

But WildEarth 後見人s argued in one of two separate 訴訟s とじ込み/提出するd by 環境の groups in U.S. 地区 法廷,裁判所 in Arizona that the 計画(する) would その上の imperil the smallest and rarest subspecies of the gray wolf that roams parts of the U.S. West and Midwest. The second 訴訟 was とじ込み/提出するd by Defenders of 野性生物 and others.

"This is not a 回復 計画(する), it's an 絶滅 計画(する) for the Mexican wolf," Chris Smith, 野性生物 支持する for WildEarth 後見人s, said by telephone on Tuesday.

Conservationists in both 訴訟s want the 法廷,裁判所 to find the Fish and 野性生物 Service 計画(する) 合法的に 欠陥d and 要求する the 機関 to (手先の)技術 a new one.

A 広報担当者 for the Fish and 野性生物 Service did not すぐに 答える/応じる to a request for comment on Tuesday. The 機関 in the past has said it has a 政策 of not commenting on litigation.

The Mexican wolf had disappeared in the wild when it was first 分類するd as 危うくするd in 1976 and has struggled to make a 復帰 にもかかわらず 10年間s of 自然保護 成果/努力s.

環境保護主義者s 主張する in the 訴訟s that the 政府's 回復 program 削減(する)s Mexican wolves off from their historic 範囲 in and around Grand Canyon 国家の Park in Arizona and the Southern Rocky Mountains, 主要な to geographic 孤立/分離 and inbreeding that would 減らす the size and health of wolf packs.

Conservationists (刑事)被告 the Fish and 野性生物 Service of 屈服するing to 圧力s 発揮するd by livestock and 追跡(する)ing groups - which see w olves as 脅しs to cattle and big-game animals 好意d by sportsmen - instead of using science to 決定する 全住民 levels and other factors 重要な to the Mexican wolf´s 生き残り.

Under the 機関's 計画(する), the Mexican wolf, which numbers 113 in Arizona and New Mexico and 31 in Mexico, would be 適格の for de-名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)ing in 2043 供給するd its 全住民 reached an 普通の/平均(する) of at least 320 in the two U.S. 明言する/公表するs and 200 in Mexico over eight years, assuming a 安定した growth 率 during that period.

政府 野性生物 経営者/支配人s have あられ/賞賛するd the 対策 as 開始 "a path 今後" for an animal that had all but 消えるd in the American 南西 in the 20th century 予定 to systematic 追跡(する)ing, trapping and 毒(薬)ing. (報告(する)/憶測ing by Laura Zuckerman; editing by Dan Whitcomb and Susan Thomas)
