Vatican, 中国 調印する 目印 （許可，名誉などを）与える on 任命するing bishops

VILNIUS, Sept 22 (Reuters) - The Vatican on Saturday 調印するd a 目印 協定 giving it a long-願望（する）d say in the 任命 of bishops in 中国, though critics labelled the 取引，協定 a sellout to the 共産主義者 政府.
The 一時的に 協定, 調印するd in Beijing by 副 外務大臣s from both 味方するs, was 発表するd as ローマ法王 Francis visited Lithuania on a four-day trip to the Baltic countries.
It gives the 宗教上の See a 決定的な 役割 in the 任命 of all bishops in a country whose around 12 million カトリック教徒s have been 分裂（する） between an 地下組織の Church 断言するing 忠義 to the Vatican and the 明言する／公表する-監督するd カトリック教徒 愛国的な 協会.
The Vatican said the （許可，名誉などを）与える, a 打開 after years of 交渉s, was "not political but pastoral".
A 宗教上の See 声明 did not について言及する Taiwan, which the Vatican recognises 外交上 and which 中国 sees as a renegade 州.
However, 外交官s have said the （許可，名誉などを）与える was a possible precursor to a 再開 in 外交関係 with Beijing after 70 years. Beijing does not 許す countries to have 外交関係 with both 中国 and Taiwan.
Taiwan now has formal relations with only 17 明言する／公表するs and the Vatican is the only one in Europe.
The Vatican said the ローマ法王 hoped "a new 過程 may begin that will 許す the 負傷させるs of the past to be 打ち勝つ, 主要な to the 十分な communion of all Chinese カトリック教徒s".
But prospects of such an 協定 had divided communities of カトリック教徒s across 中国, some of whom 恐れる greater 鎮圧 should the Vatican cede more 支配（する）／統制する to Beijing. Others want to see 親善 and 避ける a 可能性のある schism.
"They're giving the flock into the mouths of the wolves. It's an incredible betrayal," said 枢機けい／主要な Joseph Zen, the feisty, 86-year-old former 大司教 of Hong Kong who has led the 対立 to the 取引，協定.
"The consequences will be 悲劇の and long 継続している, not only for th e Church in 中国 but for the whole Church because it 損害賠償金 the 信用性. Maybe that's why they might keep the 協定 secret," Zen told Reuters in an interview on Thursday.
Vatican sources have said the 取引，協定 will not be published and can be reviewed and 罰金-tuned in the 未来.

The Vatican said that as part of the 取引，協定, ローマ法王 Francis had recognised the legitimacy of the seven remaining 明言する／公表する-任命するd Chinese bishops who had been 指名するd without papal 是認 and had re-認める them into the Church.
"Today, for the first time all the bishops in 中国 are in communion with the Bishop of Rome (the ローマ法王)," 枢機けい／主要な Pietro Parolin, the Vatican 国務長官 and one of the 長，指導者 architects of the 取引，協定, said in a 声明.
Vatican sources have said that a few bishops 任命するd by Rome will cede their places to bishops who had been 任命するd by Beijing.
