Mexico's 'Roma' 勝利,勝つs Oscar for best foreign language film

LOS ANGELES, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Mexican film "Roma," about a housekeeper in a middle-class family in the 1970s, won the Oscar on Sunday for best foreign language film.

The 黒人/ボイコット-and-white Netflix film, directed and written by Alfonso Cuaron, 示すd Mexico's first Oscar victory in the 部類 and has already 選ぶd up a slew of other awards this year.

The film was 奮起させるd by Cuaron's childhood and a 国内の 労働者 who helped raise him. It features a 大部分は unknown or amateur cast.

"I grew up watching foreign language films and learning so much from them and 存在 奮起させるd," the Mexican filmmaker said on 行う/開催する/段階, before giving a tongue-in-cheek 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) that 含むd some classic English-language films from the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs.
