RPT-パナマ 投票（する）s for 大統領，／社長; 候補者s 公約する to fight 汚職，収賄 and 不平等

PANAMA CITY, May 5 (Reuters) - Panamanians 投票（する） on Sunday in a 大統領の 選挙 に引き続いて a （選挙などの）運動をする led by a former farm 大臣 whose 約束s to fight 汚職 and 不平等 resonated in the wake of スキャンダルs about 贈収賄 and the canal nation's 役割 in hiding the wealth of 全世界の エリートs.
The next 大統領，／社長 will 相続する one of the world's fastest-growing economies, in which 中国 has an 増加するing 利益／興味. But there is also 開始するing 圧力 to 減ずる the wealth gap and clean up politics in the wake of the 汚職 スキャンダル 伴う／関わるing Brazilian 建設業者 Odebrecht and the パナマ Papers 文書s 漏れる.
Laurentino "Nito" Cortizo, the 66-year-old former 農業の 大臣, has 支持を得ようと努めるd the country's 2.8 million 投票者s with 約束s to 改善する 政府 services like water and healthcare by clamping 負かす／撃墜する on 申し立てられた／疑わしい 使い込み，横領 of public 基金s in the Central American country, whose trans-大洋の canal 扱うs some $270 billion of 貨物 each year.
"The corrupt and incompetent are stealing our money, 脅すing our 未来," Cortizo said during his final （選挙などの）運動をする 決起大会／結集させる in the 資本／首都 on Wednesday, as thousands of 支持者s waved the red, white and blue 旗s of his 穏健な left Democratic 革命 Party (PRD).
On 中国, Cortizo has said he would continue to 深くする 関係, but has 示唆するd he might move more slowly than 大統領 Juan Carlos Varela, who 怒り／怒るd the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs by 調印 several major 組織／基盤／下部構造 事業／計画（する）s with the Asian 力／強力にする. Still, many argue that not enough has been done to fight 汚職，収賄 and impunity.
"The general sense in パナマ is that the powerful and the mighty can get away with anything," said Olga de Obaldia of Transparency International in パナマ.
