FOREX-Aussie jumps as RBA 持つ/拘留するs 率s 安定した; dollar drifts lower

TOKYO, May 7 (Reuters) - The Australian dollar はっきりと rose on Tuesday after the country's central bank held 率s at a 記録,記録的な/記録する low, dashing 憶測 it may 緩和する 政策 に引き続いて a below-par reading of インフレーション.

The Aussie was last up about 0.7 パーセント at $0.7035 after the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) held its cash 率 at 1.50 パーセント. Against the yen, the Aussie was last up about 0.5 パーセント at 77.82 yen.

"From 中国's 視野, a break up in 交渉s isn't really favourable for the 国内の economy. I think they want to get a 取引,協定 one way or the other," said Yukio Ishizuki, 上級の 通貨 strategist at Daiwa 安全s.

While there had been talk that Washington and Beijing might reach a 貿易(する) 取引,協定 this week, it is likely the 交渉s will take a bit more time, he 追加するd.

Late on Monday, U.S. 貿易(する) 代表者/国会議員 Robert Lighthizer and 財務省 長官 Steven Mnuchin said 中国 had moved away from かかわり合いs made over the course of 貿易(する) 交渉s.

Lighthizer said his office would probably put out a notice on Tuesday about a 提案するd 増加する in 関税s on $200 billion 価値(がある) of Chinese goods to 25 パーセント from 10 パーセント.

The Japanese 通貨 tends to 利益 during periods of geopolitical or 財政上の 強調する/ストレス as Japan is the world's biggest creditor nation.
