June 7 (Reuters) - Several European clubs have 発表するd their 対立 to a 提案するd 創造 of a nearly の近くにd 支持する/優勝者s League from 2024 onwards.

The 提案 has been put 今後 by the European Club 協会 (ECA) which has 232 members and is working with UEFA to redesign European 競争.

However, に引き続いて an ECA 会合 in Malta on Thursday and Friday, several member clubs said that it needed a fresh approach.

によれば European league 公式の/役人s who have seen the 計画(する)s, the 議論の的になる 提案 伴う/関わるs a three-tier European league with 昇進/宣伝 and relegation between each tier.

The 最高の,を越す tier, featuring 32 teams, would be the new 見解/翻訳/版 of the 支持する/優勝者s League. But it would feature eight groups of four, rather than four groups of eight, and 24 teams would keep their places for the に引き続いて season.

This would break with the tradition that 資格 is 達成するd through 業績/成果 in 国内の 競争 and, say critics, 効果的に shut off 接近 for many clubs.

It is unusual for ECA member clubs to 公然と 同意しない with the organization. ECA chairman Andrea Agnelli was 予定 to 持つ/拘留する a news 会議/協議会 later on Friday.

Schalke 04 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Peter Peters said in a 声明 that "nearly all European clubs are not 納得させるd" about the 提案 and that discussions needed to start "with a blank page."

Lazio 大統領,/社長 Claudio Lotito took a 類似の line, 説 "most" Italian clubs were against the 計画(する).

"We have to stop the 現在の 計画(する)s and we have to sit with all stakeholders and start the whole 事業/計画(する) from scratch," he said in a 声明.

St Etienne 大統領,/社長 Bernard Caiazzo said the 会合 in Malta was a "step 今後 in 成果/努力s to 封鎖する the 改革(する)."

AS Monaco's 副 CEO Nicolas Holveck said that the 会合 had failed to discuss the 歳入 配当 of club 競争s, which many 観察者/傍聴者s feel is ひどく 負わせるd in 好意 of the big clubs.

"We believe it is important to 器具/実施する a fairer 配当 model の中で 参加するing and 非,不,無-参加するing clubs to 保証(人) the proper 競争の激しい balance both in Europe and at league level," he said.

Wanja Greuel, 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある of スイスの 支持する/優勝者s Young Boys, said that "for the very first time several clubs from all over Europe have 明言する/公表するd their 会社/堅い 対立 to the 現在の 提案 現在のd by UEFA and ECA."

Greuel said most clubs would "fight to 器具/実施する a different European football model which could 利益 all clubs in Europe and not 単独で the エリート European clubs."

FC Basel's 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Roland Heri said fans groups in Europe had also raised 関心s. "The passion of our fans is おもに driven by the 国内の games we play at 国内の level in Switzerland," he said.

Frederic Longuepee, 大統領,/社長 of Girondins de Bordeaux, said a 重要な number of clubs were worried about 衝撃 of the 改革(する) on 国内の leagues and fans' 期待s.

"Any coherent 改革(する) can't 保護する the 利益/興味 of a few at the expense of the 大多数," he said. (令状ing by Brian Homewood Editing by Christian Radnedge)
