With Venezuela in 崩壊（する）, towns slip into 原始の 孤立／分離

PATANEMO, Venezuela, June 7 (Reuters) - At the once-busy beach 訴える手段／行楽地 of Patanemo, 観光旅行，事業 has evaporated over the last two years as Venezuela's 経済的な 危機 has 深くするd and 悪化するing cellphone service left 訪問者s too afraid of 強盗 to 勇敢に立ち向かう the 孤立するd roads.
Gone are the vendors who once walked the sands of the 三日月-形態／調整d beach 強硬派ing bathing 控訴s and empanadas - a 伝統的な savory pastry.
These days, its Caribbean shoreline 側面に位置するd by forested hills receives a different type of 訪問者: people who walk 10 minutes from a nearby town carrying rice, plantains or 気が狂って in hopes of 交流ing them for the fishermen's 最新の catch.
With bank 公式文書，認めるs made useless by 超インフレ, and no 平易な 接近 to the debit card 終点s 広範囲にわたって used to 行為／行う 処理／取引s in 都市の areas, 居住（者）s of Patanemo rely おもに on 物々交換する.
It is just one of a growing number of 田舎の towns slipping into 孤立／分離 as Venezuela's economy implodes まっただ中に a long-running political 危機.
From the 頂点（に達する）s of the Andes to Venezuela's sweltering southern savannahs, the 崩壊（する） of basic services 含むing 力／強力にする, telephone and internet has left many towns struggling to 生き残る.
The subsistence economy stands in stark contrast to the oil にわか景気 years when 豊富 seeped into the most remote reaches of what was once Latin America's richest nation.
"The fish that we catch is to 交流 or give away," said Yofran Arias, one of 15 fishermen who have grown accustomed to a rustic 存在 even though they live a 15-minute 運動 from Venezuela's main port of Puerto Cabello.
"Money doesn't buy anything so it's better for people to bring food so we can give them fish," he said, while きれいにする bonefish, known for abundant bones and 限られた／立憲的な 商業の value.
In visits to three villages across Venezuela, Reuters reporters saw 居住（者）s 交流ing fish, coffee beans and 手渡す-選ぶd fruit for essent ials to make ends 会合，会う in an economy that shrank 48% during the first five years of 大統領 Nicolas Maduro's 政府, によれば 最近の central bank 人物／姿／数字s.
Venezuela's 危機 has taken a 激しい （死傷者）数 on 田舎の areas, where the number of 世帯s in poverty reached 74% in 2017 compared with 34% in the 資本／首都 of Caracas, によれば an 年次の 調査する called Encovi carried out by 私的な Venezuelan universities.

"I 港／避難所't been to the city 中心 in almost two years. What would I do there? I don't have enough (money) to buy a shirt or a pair of shorts," said a fisherman in Patanemo who identified himself only as Luis.
"I'm better off here swapping things to 生き残る."
COFFEE FOR FUEL
Venezuela is 苦しむing one of the worst 経済的な 崩壊（する）s in modern history. インフレーション has topped 1 million パーセント, によれば 人物／姿／数字s 解放（する）d by the 対立-run congress. The 国際連合 says 4 million 国民s have fled Venezuela, 3.3 million of them since 2015.

The bolivar has lost 99% of its value since Maduro took office in 2013.
In the mountains of the central 明言する／公表する of Lara, 居住（者）s of the town of Guarico th is year 設立する a different way of 支払う／賃金ing 法案s - coffee beans.
居住（者）s of the coffee-growing 地域 now 交流 roasted beans for anything from haircuts to spare parts for 農業の 機械／機構.
"Based on the cost of the 製品, we agree with the 顧客 on the キロs or number of 捕らえる、獲得するs of coffee that they have to 支払う／賃金," said 金物類／武器類 蓄える／店 経営者／支配人 Haideliz Linares.
The 処理／取引s are based on a 言及／関連 price for how much coffee fetches on the 地元の market, Linares said. In April, one キロ (2.2 続けざまに猛撃するs) of beans was 価値（がある） the 同等（の） of $3.00.
In El Tocuyo, another town in Lara 明言する／公表する, three 100 キロ 解雇（する）s of coffee buy 200 リットルs (53 gallons) of ガソリン, which is in ますます short 供給（する） in the 石油輸出国機構 nation 予定 to chronic 操作の problems at 明言する／公表する oil company PDVSA.
In Borburata, another town a few miles from Patanemo, Keila Ovalles 収穫s eggplant, tomato and passion fruit in the backyard of her modest home. She said it was 類似の to the way her family lived in the 早期に 20th century.
She stopped drinking coffee after 存在 unable to 支払う／賃金 for it, and now makes tea out of lemongrass instead.
"I tell the guys that I'm swapping passion fruit for something else, they spread the word and someone always comes," said the 55-year-old woman.
