ISTANBUL/ATHENS, June 7 (Reuters) - Turkey said on Friday that Turkish Cypriots had 権利s to a 株 of the island's 沖合いの/海外の 資源s, days after the Greek Cypriot 政府 agreed a 歳入 を取り引きする a U.S. 会社/堅い over a gas find in the eastern Mediterranean.

Turkey and the 国祭的な recognised Cypriot 政府 have overlapping (人命などを)奪う,主張するs of 裁判権 for 沖合いの/海外の oil and gas 研究 in that part of the Mediterranean, an area thought to be rich in natural gas.

On Wednesday, Cypriot 公式の/役人s said 当局 had agreed a 生産/産物-株ing を取り引きする U.S.-based Noble Energy and partners over 商業の 開発/利用 of Aphrodite, an 沖合いの/海外の gas field 存在 developed southeast of the island.

The 取引,協定 makes no 言及/関連 to the Turkish Cypriots and they are not 存在 申し込む/申し出d a 株 of the 歳入s, Turkish Foreign 省 広報担当者 Hami Aksoy said on Friday.

But the parties to the 取引,協定 "cannot ignore the fact that Turkish Cypriots are co-owners of the island and that they have equal 権利s on (its) oil and gas 資源s," he said in a 声明.

Cypriot Energy 大臣 George Lakkotrypis said the 取引,協定 had the 可能性のある to bring the island more than $9 billion in 歳入 over the 概算の 18-year lifespan of the 貯蔵所.

Earlier on Friday, Turkish 大統領 Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey was 決定するd to defend the 権利s of Turkish Cypriots, and said 演習ing and 探検 ships under the 保護 of the country's 海軍 were "移行ing to the 地域."
