U.S. House パネル盤 調査（する）s education 長官 DeVos' personal email use

July 15 (Reuters) - A U.S. congressional 委員会 on Monday sought 記録，記録的な／記録するs from Education 長官 Betsy Devos relating to her use of 私的な email accounts, 拡大するing an 調査 into how 大統領 Donald Trump's 最高の，を越す 補佐官s use 非公式の messaging services to 行為／行う 政府 事件／事情／状勢s.
U.S. 代表者／国会議員 Elijah Cummings, the Democratic chairman of the House Oversight and 改革（する） 委員会, sent a letter to DeVos requesting copies of all messages relating to 公式の／役人 政府 商売／仕事 she sent or received from 私的な email accounts or electronic messaging services.
The letter gave DeVos a July 29 最終期限.
The Department Education did not すぐに 答える／応じる to a request for comment.
An 内部の Department of Education 監視者 said in a May 20 報告（する）／憶測 that DeVos いつかs used personal email accounts for 政府 商売／仕事 and did not always save the messages 適切に.

Cummings is already scrutinizing Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-法律 Jared Kushner over their use of personal emails and other 非公式の messaging to 行為／行う 政府 事件／事情／状勢s.
The White House had not produced any 文書s in 返答 to Cummings' requests, he said in a July 1 letter to White House Counsel Pat Cipollone.
Cummings said Kushner´s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, had told 国会議員s that Kushner used WhatsApp for 公式の／役人 義務s and that his wife, Ivanka, continued to use a personal email account for her White House 商売／仕事.
Lowell, in a reply to Cummings, 否定するd telling 国会議員s that Kushner had communicated through any app with foreign "leaders" or "公式の／役人s" but said Kushner had used such apps for communicating with "some people," who were not 明示するd.
