South African 汚職 調査 延期，休会するs after Zuma´s lawyers say 尋問 不公平な

JOHANNESBURG, July 17 (Reuters) - A South African 裁判官 延期，休会するd until Friday morning a public 調査 into 明言する／公表する 汚職, after lawyers for former 大統領 Jacob Zuma said he was 存在 questioned 不公平に.
The 調査 is looking into 主張s that Zuma, 追い出すd by the 判決，裁定 African 国家の 議会 (ANC) party in February 2018, 許すd cronies to plunder 明言する／公表する 資源s and 影響（力） 上級の 任命s during his nine years in 力／強力にする.
Zuma´s lawyers have argued that the 調査´s lawyers should not cross-診察する the former 大統領，／社長 because they say 証拠 given by other 証言，証人／目撃するs does not 直接／まっすぐに 巻き込む Zuma in 汚職 and 詐欺.

Zuma, 77, has long 否定するd any 悪事を働くこと.
Zuma´s lawyers told Zondo that the former 大統領，／社長, who has been 証言するing since Monday, had been brought to the 調査 under "誤った pretences" because he was 存在 cross-診察するd, 反して he thought he would only have to answer straightforward points of clarity.
"The former 大統領，／社長 has 表明するd 確かな 関心s," Zondo said. "It has been decided that we should 延期，休会する the 訴訟／進行s for the day, and we should not sit tomorrow ーするために give a 十分な 適切な時期 to the （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限´s 合法的な team and the former 大統領，／社長´s 合法的な team ... to see whether a way can be 設立する in which his (Zuma´s) 関心s are 演説（する）／住所d."
Zuma has so far ducked and dived at the 調査, which he agreed to 始める，決める up during his final weeks in office.
On Tuesday he said he could not 解任する 詳細（に述べる）s surrounding an 出来事/事件 where his 商売／仕事 friends the Guptas 恐らく 申し込む／申し出d a former 国会議員 a 大臣の position.
On Monday the former 大統領，／社長, who still enjoys 重要な support in 田舎の areas and his home 州 of KwaZulu-誕生の, said he was the 犠牲者 of a １０年間s-old 陰謀（を企てる） by enemies at home and abroad to get rid of him.
分析家s says 成果／努力s by Zuma´s 後継者, Cyril Ramaphosa, to clean up politics could be 傷つける if the 調査 fails to pin 負かす／撃墜する a 事例／患者 against Zuma.
TRANSNET APPOINTMENT
Earlier on Wednesday, Zuma 否定するd having 干渉するd with the 任命 of a 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある at 輸送（する） and 組織／基盤／下部構造 company Transnet.
Transnet, which operates 鉄道s, ports and 燃料 pipelines, is one of a handful of 明言する／公表する-owned 会社／堅いs that became embroiled in 汚職 スキャンダルs during Zuma´s 任期.
Former public 企業s 大臣 Barbara Hogan told the 調査 that Zuma had told her at a 会合 in 2009 that Siyabonga Gama was his "only choice" to be CEO of Transnet.
Gama was at the time 支配する to disciplinary 訴訟／進行s because of 調達 不正行為s, and Hogan said Transnet´s board of directors 手配中の，お尋ね者 to 任命する another 候補者 it みなすd better qualified for the 職業.
Asked whether he had told Hogan that Gama was his only choice for Transnet CEO, Zuma told the 調査: "It couldn´t be like that, we don´t work like that. As I say there was a 過程. ... I would have been 土台を崩すing the 過程."

Transnet has sought to 回復する 経由で the 法廷，裁判所s money it says was misspent under Gama´s leadership.
