Japan's Nikkei slips on stronger yen, 通貨 war jitters

TOKYO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei fell on Wednesday as a stronger yen and 恐れるs of a 全世界の 通貨 war 誘発するd 投資家s to sell riskier 資産s, though some 上昇傾向 法人組織の/企業の results and 塀で囲む Street's bounce helped 抑制(する) losses.

The Nikkei 在庫/株 普通の/平均(する) ended the day 負かす/撃墜する 0.33% at 20,516.56 points.

Honda モーター Co lost 0.9%, Mitsubishi Electric Corp shed 1.3% and TDK Corp 拒絶する/低下するd 2.2%.

Sumco Corp, a 製造業者 of silicon wafers used in 半導体s, sank 9.3% after its operating 利益(をあげる) fell 18.4% in Jan-June.

Kirin Holdings Co 宙返り/暴落するd 5% after Japan's second-biggest brewer 地位,任命するd a 逮捕する loss of 7.31 billion yen ($68.8 million) in the Jan-June period.
