BEIJING, Aug 7 (Reuters) - 中国's foreign 交流 reserves 落ちる by $15.54 billion in July to $3.104 一兆, central bank data showed on Wednesday, as the yuan （機の）カム under 圧力 まっただ中に rising 貿易（する） 緊張s with the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs.
経済学者s 投票d by Reuters had 推定する／予想するd the country's reserves, the world's largest, would 落ちる by $18 billion to $3.101 一兆.
The 落ちる in July - which was only the second 月毎の 減少（する） this year - was 予定 to changes in foreign 交流 率s and prices of 資産s which 中国 持つ／拘留するs in its reserves, the foreign 交流 regulator said in a 声明 after the data 解放（する）.
中国 has been able to keep 資本／首都 outflows under 支配（する）／統制する over the past year にもかかわらず the bruising 貿易（する） war with the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs and 弱めるing 経済成長 at home. Reserves have 回復するd from an October 2018 low thanks to 資本／首都 支配（する）／統制するs and rising foreign 投資s in Chinese 在庫／株s and 社債s.
But downward 圧力 on the yuan is building after the central bank let the 通貨 slide through the 重要な support level of 7 to the dollar on Monday and it 宙返り／暴落するd to 11-year lows.
The U.S. 政府 moved subsequently to label 中国 a 通貨 manipulator.
The yuan has now 弱めるd around 1.5% since U.S. 大統領 Donald Trump 脅すd last Thursday to 課す more 関税s on Chinese goods from Sept. 1, though there are 調印するs 中国 is trying to 茎・取り除く the 拒絶する／低下するs.
The yuan fell 0.28% against the dollar in July, にもかかわらず an 協定 by U.S. and Chinese leaders in late June to 持つ／拘留する off on その上の 刑罰の 貿易（する） 対策 while the two 味方するs 試みる／企てるd to 再開する 交渉s, which had broken 負かす／撃墜する in May.
中国 燃やすd through $1 一兆 of reserves supporting the yuan in the last 経済的な 下降 in 2015, which also saw it 平価を切り下げる the 通貨 in a surprise move.
中国 had been 介入するing to support the yuan earlier this year as 貿易（する） 会談 continued, "but the fact that they have 許すd the yuan to go past 7 shows they have sort of given up," 資本／首都 経済的なs 上級の 中国 経済学者 Julian Evans-Pritchard said on Monday.
"We want to see how long the yuan stays past 7 to see if this is just a 警告 発射. If it stays past 7, it could 弱める 意味ありげに その上の."

DIVERSIFICATION
中国 will 追求する the diversification of its foreign 交流 reserves in a 安定した, 慎重な way, the foreign 交流 regulator said in late July.
For the first time, it 解放（する）d some 幅の広い data on its reserve holdings, which have been a closely held secret.
Of 中国's reserves in 2014, 58% were held in U.S. dollar-denominated 資産s, 負かす／撃墜する from 79% in 1995, the 明言する／公表する 行政 of Foreign 交流 (SAFE) said.
It did not 公表する／暴露する （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） for years after 2014.
中国 has been ramping up its gold reserves this year.
It held 62.26 million 罰金 troy ounces of gold at end-July, up 4.5% from 59.560 million ounces at end-2018.
The value of 中国's gold reserves rose to $88.876 billion at the end of July from $87.27 billion at the end of June.
