After 抗議するs, Alamos CEO defends Turkish 地雷 事業／計画（する） against 'misinformation'

ANKARA, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Canada-based Alamos Gold has pre-paid for the reforestation at its 地雷 事業／計画（する） in western Turkey, its 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある told Reuters まっただ中に growing 批評, 追加するing that it was impossible for 青酸カリ to 漏れる into the 環境 as 抗議する人s 恐れる.

In an interview late on Tuesday in Ankara, the Alamos CEO John McCluskey said the 抗議するs against his company's 事業／計画（する） 近づく the town of Kirazli were 政治上-動機づけるd "misinformation."
The area at the 場所／位置 now 大部分は stripped of trees would begin to return to its previous 明言する／公表する after the six years 想像するd for the 事業／計画（する）, he 追加するd.

McCluskey, however, said 青酸カリ would only be used in the final step of the 採掘 過程 to 抽出する the gold, and that the company had taken 対策 to 確実にする that there would not be any 漏れるs into the 環境. He said the 地雷's 操作／手術s would not 衝撃 the watershed.
"Not only do we make that impossible, if we didn't make that impossible we shouldn't even sta rt because by the time you've 追加するd the 青酸カリ to the 過程 it's because there is gold there. And if you lose the 青酸カリ, you lose the gold," he said.
"We have one impervious membrane and underneath that is another impervious membrane. In between the two 層s, we have a 漏れる （犯罪，病気などの）発見 system. If it should ever happen, before it gets to the other 層, we'll know," McCluskey told Reuters.
In a two-hour interview on the sidelines of 会合s in Ankara, McCluskey said it was impossible for the 地雷 to 影響 the dam because the 採掘 解答 would have to flow 上りの／困難な to reach a separate watershed.

Earlier this year, students in Ankara 抗議するd against 計画（する）s to 削減（する） 負かす／撃墜する hundreds of trees to build a dorm on a school campus. The 政府 says these 事業／計画（する）s support the economy, which had been driven for years by a construction にわか景気 that ended in last year's 通貨 危機 and 後退，不況.
Asked about the thousands of 抗議する人s 近づく Alamos' 採掘 場所／位置, McCluskey said the demonstrations were a political attack 目的（とする）d at creating 不安.
"It is a very 冷笑的な thing to say, but I believe that this whole attack is essentially just an 環境の cloak that is 存在 put over what is really a 深い political 協議事項," he said.
