Twenty 兵士s killed in Mali attack, 政府 says
BAMAKO, Jan 26 (Reuters) - About 20 兵士s were killed in a pre-夜明け attack on an army （軍の）野営地，陣営 in central Mali on Sunday, the 政府 said.
The 身元 of the 攻撃者s was not すぐに （疑いを）晴らす. In a 声明, the 政府 said "テロリストs" entered the （軍の）野営地，陣営 近づく the village of Sokolo, killed the 兵士s and 原因（となる）d "重要な 構成要素 損失".
"増強s have been 派遣（する）d to the scene and an 空中の 偵察 is 進行中で in the area to 跡をつける 負かす／撃墜する the 攻撃者s," it said.
Islamist groups with links to al Qaeda and Islamic 明言する／公表する operate in arid central and northern Mali and have used the area as a base to attack 兵士s and 非軍事のs in 隣人ing Burkina Faso, Niger and beyond.
Former 植民地の 力／強力にする フラン 介入するd in 2013 to 運動 支援する 交戦的なs who had 掴むd northern Mali in 2012, and the U.N. 安全 会議 （軍隊を）展開する，配備するd a peacekeeping 使節団, known as MINUSMA. The 交戦的なs were 押し進めるd 支援する 最初 but have since 再編成するd and 強化するd. In a 調印する of their success, MINUSMA has become the U.N.'s deadliest 使節団.
Large areas of the Sahel, the 禁止（する）d of scrubland south of the Sahara, are no longer controlled by 兵士s and police, to the 狼狽 of 地元の 政府s and their international partners, 含むing the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs, which have struggled to 含む／封じ込める the spread of jihadist groups across West Africa.
Twenty-four Malian 兵士s were killed and 29 負傷させるd when 交戦的なs attacked a patrol in northern Mali in November. Twenty people were 負傷させるd earlier this month in the north, 含むing 18 U.N. （国連の）平和維持軍s from Chad, in a ロケット／急騰する attack on a 軍の base used by U.N., French and Malian 軍隊s.
