Farrell looks for Ireland 改良 ahead of 決定的な England 衝突/不一致

DUBLIN, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Ireland coach Andy Farrell says there is still room for 改良 に引き続いて 支援する-to-支援する 勝利,勝つs at the start of the Six Nations and with a crunch 衝突/不一致 against England at Twickenham later this month.

Ireland were impressive in their 24-14 特別手当-point victory over むちの跡s in Dublin on Saturday as they 支配するd 領土, the 決裂/故障 and 始める,決める-piece play, and 得点する/非難する/20d four tries to two.

But Farrell, who took over the team from Joe Schmidt に引き続いて last year´s World Cup, felt his 味方する could be more 臨床の and hopes they show that against England in a match that could go a long way to deciding this year´s Six Nations 肩書を与える.

"We said it wasn´t a brilliant 業績/成果 but we had a good 準備 this week with an 改善するd 業績/成果," Farrell told reporters.

"But even after a 特別手当-point 勝利,勝つ there is plenty more in us and we´ll be looking to do that.

"It´s a good place to be, two from two and still plenty to do. We´ve room for 改良. It´s a good place to be."

Ireland led 12-7 at halftime and might have been その上の ahead with some better finishing.

"It was a gutsy 業績/成果. We didn´t 変える as much as we could have in the first-half and むちの跡s might have been happier going in at the break.

"We just need to make sure we´re nice and physical for the 十分な 80 minutes. For much of it, we were going 今後 in defence and attack.

"In the second half our 始める,決める-piece 強化するd up, our defence was good and we 変えるd our chances in attack. If we have a 創立/基礎 like this we can build massively.

"We were 静める in the first half ーに関して/ーの点でs of seeing space and using it, we played some 広大な/多数の/重要な stuff. We defended a lot in the second half and then got a bit clunky but it´s a good learning for us."

Farrell also 賞賛するd his players for 扱うing the gusty 勝利,勝つd 条件s that meant they kept the ball in 手渡す more rather than look to the boot.

"We saw a bit of grit from the boys, 条件s weren´t 広大な/多数の/重要な so to come out on 最高の,を越す against the 勝利,勝つd was awesome.

"We´ve good players and they know how to 勝利,勝つ games. We´ve got a bit of a break and we´ll come 支援する to build on what we´ve started."

Ireland travel to Twickenham on Feb. 22, hoping for a repeat of their 24-15 victory in 2018 that helped them 安全な・保証する the Grand 激突する.
