Britain's ユダヤ人の Chronicle 捜し出すs liquidation on eve of Passover

LONDON, April 8 (Reuters) - Britain's ユダヤ人の Chronicle, which 述べるs itself as the world's oldest ユダヤ人の newspaper, is to 捜し出す liquidation, one of the most high profile マスコミ 死傷者s of the coronavirus pandemic that has led to a 崩壊（する） in advertising spend.
設立するd in 1841, the 肩書を与える - often known as the JC - said the liquidation was 推定する／予想するd to be finalised in the coming two to three weeks and it would make every 成果／努力 to continue to publish over that time.
"破滅的な news for us," said Stephen Pollard, editor of the ユダヤ人の Chronicle. "I won't be 説 anything beyond 確認するing that the paper will be out as usual next week, and we have every 意向 of 避けるing any interruption."

The board of the ユダヤ人の News, which 述べるs itself as Britain's biggest ユダヤ人の newspaper, made the same 告示.
The Kessler 創立／基礎, owners of the JC, said it was working to 安全な・保証する a 未来 for the 肩書を与える after the liquidation. The 後見人 newspaper 報告（する）／憶測d that staff had been told the parent company had run out of money during the lockdown.
The London-based ユダヤ人の Chronicle says it 努力する／競うs to 反映する a wide 多様制 of ユダヤ人の 宗教的な, social and political thought across the spectrum, both 正統派の and 世俗的な.
"We 深く，強烈に 悔いる the news of the 可能性のある liquidation of both the ユダヤ人の Chronicle and the ユダヤ人の News and the 衝撃 that this will have for the many 罰金 新聞記者／雑誌記者s, who 与える／捧げる enormously to ユダヤ人の life in this country," a 広報担当者 for the Board of 副s of British Jews said.

Over nearly two centuries, the newspaper has 反映するd the ups and 負かす／撃墜するs of European Jewry, from pogroms against Jews in the ロシアの empire and questions of Zionism to the 創立／基礎 of the ユダヤ人の 明言する／公表する and anti-Semitism in Britain.
In one of the newspaper's most 著名な interviews, the JC in 1981 spoke to then-総理大臣 Margaret Thatcher who 述べるd イスラエル's attack on an Iraqi 核の 工場／植物 as a step に向かって international anarchy.
"This is very sad news for the staff and ユダヤ人の community, 特に at the start of the festival of Passover," said Jo Stevens, the 対立 労働 Party's マスコミ spokeswoman said.
