"For all those of you who 投票(する)d for 大統領 Trump, I understand the 失望 tonight. I've lost a couple times myself. But now, let's give each other a chance. It's time to put away the 厳しい rhetoric, lower the 気温, see each other again, listen to each other again," Biden said.

"This is the time to 傷をいやす/和解させる in America," Biden 追加するd.

Biden made an explicit call for 協調 between America's two major 政党s as he 直面するs political dysfunction and 同志/支持者 gridlock in Washington.
