Vietnam 持つ／拘留するs 議会 選挙 まっただ中に new COVID-19 突発／発生
HANOI, May 23 (Reuters) - Tens of millions of mask-wearing Vietnamese were 推定する／予想するd to 投票（する） on Sunday to select a 大部分は rubber-stamp 立法機関 まっただ中に a 速く spreading COVID-19 突発／発生 in the country.
より小数の 独立した・無所属 候補者s than before are standing in the 選挙 for the 500-seat 国家の 議会, which is held every five years and usually after the 判決，裁定 共産主義者 Party 持つ／拘留するs its congress to select a new leadership.
Nearly 69.2 million 登録（する）d 投票者s are 推定する／予想するd to select from 866 候補者s for the 議会. They will also 投票（する） for members of the people's 会議s at 地方の and 地区 levels.
"I hope all 投票者s, knowing their 役割 as the owners of the country, will join the 投票（する） to select the most 信用d and worthy 候補者s to 代表する their 発言する／表明するs," 国家の 議会 chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said ahead of the 選挙.
Of the 候補者s standing for the 国家の 議会, some 92% are party members and 8% are 独立した・無所属s.
The number of 独立した・無所属 候補者s this year fell to 74 from the 97 in the previous 選挙s in 2016, while 地元の マスコミ say the number of 議会 副s who were not party members halved over the last three 選挙s.
公式の／役人 data show that 99% of Vietnam's 67.5 million 登録（する）d 投票者s 参加するd in the 2016 選挙s. The 投票（する） is 匿名の／不明の, but each 投票者's 指名する, age, 占領／職業, ethnicity and 演説（する）／住所 are 地位，任命するd outside 投票ing centres.
The 選挙 is taking place as the Southeast Asian country is 戦う／戦いing a new COVID-19 突発／発生 that is spreading 速く, 感染させるing around 2,000 people since it 現れるd in late April.
明言する／公表する マスコミ 報告（する）／憶測s said 投票者s in some remote areas and in a centralised 検疫 centre in Bac Ninh 州 投票（する）d 早期に on Saturday. The 州 is part of the epicentre of the new 突発／発生.
Organisers wearing hazmat 控訴s were seen spraying 消毒薬 on a 投票（する） box, which was then brought to each 投票者 in the 検疫 centre for the 投票（する）, a ビデオ clip on VTC News showed.
"This is the first time we have held an 選挙 まっただ中に the most dangerous coronavirus 突発／発生 that has spread to nearly half of the number of 州s, with many of them under lockdown," Hue said.
Hue said the organisers of the 選挙 have taken 対策 to 確実にする the 選挙 will take place in a 安全な manner.
選挙 results are typically 発表するd after about two weeks.
