Canada looks to relocate Afghan interpreters, staff まっただ中に U.S. drawdown

TORONTO, July 7 (Reuters) - Canada is planning to take in hundreds of 攻撃を受けやすい Afghan interpreters, 大使館 staff and their families as the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs draws 負かす／撃墜する its 軍の presence in Afghanistan after two １０年間s, a 政府 source said on Wednesday.
Canada's 戦闘 使節団 in Afghanistan ended a １０年間 ago, after which the country 再定住させるd about 800 Afghans who had worked for the country as interpreters or in other 役割s.
Now interpreters who remained in Afghanistan and Afghan staff at the Canadian 大使館 in Kabul want to leave, and Canada is looking to bring them in as 移民，移住（する）s, said a 政府 source who asked to speak 不明な 予定 to the sensitivity of the （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状）.
Many 恐れる 報復s from the Taliban for their 関与 with Western countries once the U.S. 軍隊s 出発／死.
There are about 45 大使館 スタッフの一員s and their families, for a total of about 235 people, and at least 40 interpreters and their family members, the source said.
Canada wants to bring them out as soon as possible, but the source could give no 限定された timeline. They may come as 再定住させるd 難民s or in other 移民／移住 streams, the source said, but will probably be given 永久の 居住（者） status on arrival.
The move comes as the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs looks for countries to take in thousands of Afghans who worked for the U.S. 軍の over the 20 years it spent in the country.
Canada has no 計画（する）s to take in Afghans who worked for the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs, the source said.
Last month, Human 権利s watch called on countries 伴う／関わるd in Afghanistan, 含むing Canada, to "緊急に 加速する" ビザ 過程ing and 移転 for Afghan interpreters and other 従業員s.
