Women hardest-攻撃する,衝突する in pandemic 職業 market, U.N. 労働 団体/死体 says

GENEVA, July 19 (Reuters) - Women have been 攻撃する,衝突する harder than men by 職業 losses around the world 予定 to the COVID-19 pandemic, and only men's 雇用 is likely to 回復する this year to 2019 levels, the International 労働 Organization (国際労働機関) said on Monday.

Women have been at greater 危険 of lay-offs or 減ずるd working hours during periods of anti-感染 経済的な and social 制限s, 特に in 部門s such as accommodation, food services and 製造業の, the U.N. 機関 said.

Many women have not only experienced 厳しい loss of income but also continue to 耐える the brunt of 未払いの care work.

"Even though the 事業/計画(する)d 職業s growth in 2021 for women 越えるs that of men, it will, nonetheless, be insufficient to bring women 支援する to pre-pandemic 雇用 levels," the 国際労働機関 said in a 報告(する)/憶測.

Globally, between 2019 and 2020, 4.2% of women's 雇用 was 除去するd as a result of the pandemic, 代表するing a 減少(する) of 54 million 職業s, compared to 3% of men´s 雇用 or 60 million 職業s, it said.

The number of 雇うd women in 2021 is 事業/計画(する)d to be 13 million より小数の than in 2019, while the number of men in 雇用 is 事業/計画(する)d to be about the same as in 2019. "Only 43.2% of the world's working-age women will be 雇うd in 2021, compared to 68.6% of working-age men," the 国際労働機関 said.
