TOKYO, Aug 17 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar 宙返り／暴落するd on Tuesday after the country discovered its first community 事例／患者 of COVID-19 in six months while the Australian dollar slipped to a one-month low as minutes from the central bank 会合 were perceived as dovish.

The U.S. dollar, which is also often seen as the ultimate 安全な-港／避難所 通貨, held 会社／堅い against many other 競争相手s, 含むing the euro and most other 通貨s.

In cryptocurrencies, bitcoin 貿易（する）d at $46,449, not far from Saturday's three-month high of $48,190. Ether stood at $3,195.
