TOKYO, Aug 17 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar 宙返り/暴落するd on Tuesday after the country discovered its first community 事例/患者 of COVID-19 in six months while the Australian dollar slipped to a one-month low as minutes from the central bank 会合 were perceived as dovish.

Against the euro, the yen stood at 128.62 per euro , having 攻撃する,衝突する a 近づく five-month high of 128.50 yen on Monday.

The スイスの フラン also held on to 最新の 伸び(る)s at 0.9133 フラン per dollar. On the euro, it stood at 1.0745 フラン to the euro, staying 近づく its nine-month high of 1.0720 始める,決める earlier this month.

The U.S. dollar, which is also often seen as the ultimate 安全な-港/避難所 通貨, held 会社/堅い against many other 競争相手s, 含むing the euro and most other 通貨s.

In cryptocurrencies, bitcoin 貿易(する)d at $46,449, not far from Saturday's three-month high of $48,190. Ether stood at $3,195.
