At the age of 60, American long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad decided to come out of 退職 to 試みる／企てる an incredible swim - the 110-mile open ocean crossing from Cuba to Florida. It's a story that makes a fantastic 支配する for a stirring sports biopic, with Nyad's 反抗 of her age and 多重の failed 試みる／企てるs bringing real 演劇 to the film.?
What makes it truly special, though, is the cast. Jodie Foster and Rhys Ifans are excellent as Nyad's best friend/swim coach and her open-water 航海士, while Bening is 簡単に 優れた as Nyad herself, unafraid to be flinty and unlikeable as she channels the spirit of a stubbornly 決定するd 人物／姿／数字. Elemental
Pixar's joyful romcom about what happens when 解雇する／砲火／射撃 and water mix

There are four different types of 居住（者）s in Element City - earth, 空気／公表する, 解雇する／砲火／射撃 and water. They all live 味方する by 味方する happily enough, so long as they obey the 枢機けい／主要な 支配する: elements cannot mix. So, what happens when a 解雇する／砲火／射撃 person and a water person 落ちる in love? You know 正確に／まさに where Pixar's joyful animated family comedy is going from the start, but that doesn't 減らす the fun of it, nor the enjoyment of seeing how all the different elements' worlds are created on 審査する.?
In the 死刑執行 of that 概念 Elemental is reminiscent of Inside Out and, while comparisons to that movie don't do it any favours, it's important to remember just how high a 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業 Inside Out 始める，決める. Taken on its own 条件, Elemental is a delight - it's essentially a Pixar romcom, with an 移民，移住（する）s' tale woven in. It's also a 素晴らしい looking movie with lots of 広大な／多数の／重要な 詳細（に述べる）s to enjoy if you choose to see them, and don't 行方不明になる the short film it was 解放（する）d with, either - Carl's Date, which follows the older gentleman from Up. Has any movie been 支配するd to more scrutiny than the box-office 粉砕する of summer 2023? It says a lot for Greta Gerwig's 破壊分子 take on the American doll that it could stand all that scrutiny and that, if you 手配中の，お尋ね者 to just ignore all the discussion of feminism and patriarchy that surrounded it, you could also just enjoy it - as a fun and surprising adventure comedy that carried an emotional punch about the way women live their lives.?
まっただ中に all that hubbub, it's also 平易な to forget how terrific 損なう got Robbie is as the doll leaving Barbie Land for a shock in the human world, and how funny Ryan Gosling is as Ken - although it's いっそう少なく 平易な to forget the latter as, ironically, he almost has more to do in the movie than she does. Don't overlook how beautifully designed this film is, either. They've brought Barbie Land to life in such beautiful 詳細（に述べる）, and if you played with the dolls as a child there are lots of background 詳細（に述べる）s in this for you. If you're an Indy fan whose heart swells at the sound of the 主題 music, and whose neck bristles at the sight of those 地図／計画するs with 計画（する）s 飛行機で行くing across them, you won't be disappointed by this terrific finale that 連合させるs a classic, whip-割れ目ing adventure with a rumination on ageing. That blend is there 権利 from the 開始 scenes, which follow a digitally de-老年の Harrison Ford in a train 戦う／戦い with Nazis before jumping 今後 to our hero in 1969, shirtless and 70, yelling at his hippie 隣人s for playing music too loud.
This movie, then, is about a man looking for his place in time - and that idea sits there in the background as the adventure takes off like a ロケット／急騰する, 追加するing Phoebe Waller-橋（渡しをする） into the mix as a wise-割れ目ing, screwball-style adventurer for Indy to bounce off. Waller-橋（渡しをする）'s character has a dark 味方する, just like the film, and that sense of balance grounds the 引き裂く-roaring 活動／戦闘 all the way through to an ending that brings both the story, and Indy's whole character, to a strong finish.?

Fans of mockumentaries such as Best In Show and Spinal Tap should get a kick out of this one 始める，決める at a children's theatrical summer （軍の）野営地，陣営 in upstate New York, in which the （軍の）野営地，陣営's 創立者, Joan Rubinsky (Amy Sedaris), 落ちるs into a 昏睡 and 大混乱 統治するs in the 影響. The comedy that follows manages to both mock its self-伴う／関わるd thea tre types and celebrate them at the same time, as the （軍の）野営地，陣営 comes together to put on a big musical 生産／産物 in 尊敬の印 to the comatose Joan.?
The film will be funnier if you have an affinity for or an 利益／興味 in the 肉親，親類d of people it satirises, but fundamentally it's just a good comedy filled with 広大な／多数の／重要な characters that should bring a smile to anyone's 直面する. The film is 支配するd by Murphy's Oscar-winning turn as the titular scientist, though, a driven, hypnotic 人物／姿／数字 creating something that only serves to destroy. Murphy's gong was one of seven 勝利，勝つs for Oppenheimer at the 学院 Awards, 含むing Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor for Downey Jr. The film is 利用できる to buy or rent on アマゾン, Apple, Sky and どこかよそで, and will become part of the Sky Cinema subscription from 12 April. Talking 爆撃する Marcel (発言する／表明するd by Jenny 予定する) lives alone in an empty Airbnb with his わずかに senile grandmother Connie (Isabella Rossellini). When a documentarian つまずくs upon them both while staying in the house, his films about Marcel ロケット／急騰する him to international fame and soon the 爆撃する is able to を回避する on a 使節団 to find the 残り／休憩（する） of his 行方不明の family.?
Strange and surreal, but also beautifully 観察するd and bittersweetly heartbreaking, Dean Fleischer （軍の）野営地，陣営's film is a one-of-a-肉親，親類d treasure, the sort of movie that can bring a smile to your lips at the same time as it's wringing 涙／ほころびs out of your 注目する，もくろむs. (90 minutes)?
The Flash (2023 film)
補欠／交替の／交替する universe superhero adventure packed with surprises for fans

If you like blockbuster spectacle and big ideas, then this high-火刑／賭けるs, 多重の-universe DC superhero extravaganza could fit the 法案. Keaton's Batman is a very entertaining 新規加入 to the film and the most 井戸／弁護士席-known of the multiverse surprises that The Flash has in 蓄える／店, along with more than one 見解／翻訳／版 of the speedster himself, a 開発 that gives Miller a lot of acti ng to do and the 適切な時期 for many fun jokes. Leave The World Behind
Julia Roberts 星／主役にするs in a thriller about a ぼんやり現れるing apocalypse

Taut storytelling by Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail dovetails with memorable 業績／成果s (watch out for Kevin Bacon too) in a dark and unnerving account of what happens when a modern apocalypse descends and the bricks that support society start to 崩壊する. (141 minutes)
Shirley
Regina King 星／主役にするs in a 演劇 about the US's first 黒人／ボイコット congresswoman

In 1968, New York school teacher Shirley Chisholm (Regina King) became the US's first 黒人／ボイコット congresswoman. That wasn't enough for her, though, and in 1972 she 乗る，着手するd on a （選挙などの）運動をする to 安全な・保証する the Democratic Party's 指名／任命 to run for the office of 大統領 of the USA. 十分な of sharp 観察s about the challenges Shirley 直面するd, but with a neat line in wry humour too, this is an excellent biopic about an often-forgotten 人物／姿／数字 from US politics.?
King is brilliantly unrecognisable as 決定するd 選挙運動者 Shirley, while the 広大な／多数の／重要な Lance Reddick also features in one of his final 役割s before his untimely death in March 2023. (117 minutes)?
Dune: Part One
Epic and 星／主役にする-filled adaptation of Frank Herbert's space story

Frank Herbert's Dune novels are a space epic for the 世代s, telling a 複雑にするd story of warring families and 宗教 that 広げるs across centuries. Hollywood's finest have been trying to make it work on 審査する for years, and David Lynch's 意見の不一致を生じる 1984 事業／計画（する）, featuring Sting and some of the finest actors of their 世代, was the best 成果／努力 until this.
Director Denis Villeneuve's film is accessible and human where Lynch's is eccentric and 外国人, a blockbuster that wisely divides the 初期の novel across two movies and, like Lynch's film, features a 本気で impressive cast. Timoth?e Chalamet 星／主役にするs as Paul Atreides, the 可能性のある saviour of 戦闘の準備を整えた 砂漠 惑星 Dune, with Zendaya as a fearsome 地元の 軍人 and Silo's Rebecca Ferguson as Paul's mother - the standout 業績／成果 of the film. That really only scratches the surface of the cast but, if you're in the mood for some blockbuster 活動／戦闘 with an epic feel, they don't come much better than this.?
Part Two is on the way, although it was only 公式に ordered when Part One was a box office 攻撃する，衝突する. Which makes the choice of 肩書を与える all the bolder. (155 minutes)?
The Fabelmans
熟達した coming-of-age 演劇 based on the childhood of Steven Spielberg

'Movies are dreams that you never forget.' That's what Mitzi, the artistically 失望させるd mother of aspiring young filmmaker Sammy, tells him in a 熟達した coming-of-age 演劇 奮起させるd by the childhood of its director - Steven Spielberg. As に適するs a movie about filmmaking, The Fabelmans is a technically beautiful piece of work, from the でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れるing of the 発射s to the 詳細（に述べる） in the 業績／成果s, 特に that of Michelle Williams - a bravura piece of 事実上の／代理 that was crying out for an Oscar and did receive a 指名／任命. It was one of the film's seven nods at the 2023 儀式, although it lost out on all of them - that was the year Everything Everywhere All At Once swept the board.
The other part of this film 跡をつけるs Sammy's parents as they 刻々と drift apart while their child's filmmaking 技術s grow. The 主題 that links those two halves is the idea that making art 発揮するs a destructive pull on a family and, 最終的に, the two halves come together in the most 粉々にするing way. The Fabelmans is an incredibly 審議する／熟考する piece of old school filmmaking from a master of his （手先の）技術, and every でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れる of it shows you that. And with Flora And Son he manages it again. Trying to give her aimless failing son Max (Oren Kinlan) some direction, Dublin 選び出す／独身 mum Flora (Eve Hewson) 救助（する）s a guitar fr om a skip. When Max 拒絶するs her 試みる／企てるs to get him to play, she takes up the 器具 herself - with life-changing 影響.?
Chockful of fantastic songs co-written by Carney and with 広大な／多数の／重要な 業績／成果s from Hewson, Kinlan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Flora's online US guitar teacher), this is a perfectly pitched 演劇 that 攻撃する，衝突するs some real high 公式文書，認めるs. (97 minutes)?

Chicken Run: 夜明け Of The Nugget
割れ目ing sequel to Aardman 活気／アニメーション's 攻撃する，衝突する adventure movie

Imagine Groundhog Day but 始める，決める at a wedding, and with two people stuck in the 宙返り飛行 instead o f one, and you've got the gist of this perfectly formed American comedy. Palm Springs is a 爆破 of 日光 始める，決める in the California 砂漠 city, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti (Fargo) as the bantering pair reliving a day they can't escape, and 刻々と 落ちるing for each other in the 過程.
Don't mistake this for a simple romcom, though. It has strong, 井戸／弁護士席-earned philosophical and bittersweet streaks that ground both the rom and the com and make them 攻撃する，衝突する deeper, while the ますます surreal nature of the 砂漠 setting 控訴s the time 宙返り飛行 前提 very 井戸／弁護士席. How insanity-inducing must it 現実に be to relive the same day over and over again, after all? All told, this is a movie that, while it may look a little daft to start with, will 攻撃する，衝突する you harder than you 推定する／予想する by the end. (90 minutes)?

It has become the most successful film of 巡航する's career and it's 平易な to see why: this is blockbuster film-making at its finest. It really will take your breath away. Even if you saw it on the big 審査する, this メガワット mix of adrenaline, charm and sheer, white-knuckle stunts - those 飛行機で行くing scenes are mind-blowing - is 広大な／多数の／重要な repeat 見解（をとる）ing. Cr uise is one of the last true movie 星／主役にするs, and no one does films like this better. (130 minutes)

The Marvels
Fun and funny team-based superhero sequel to Captain Marvel

The superhero movie Captain Marvel was a big 攻撃する，衝突する in 2019, pulling in more than $1 billion at the box office. Its 星／主役にする Brie Larson returns for this team-based sequel, which gives her two sidekicks first introduced in the Marvel TV universe - Monica Rambeau from WandaVision and Kamala 旅宿泊所 from Ms Marvel, both of whom can do 爆発性の things with light and energy.?
The movie 苦しむs from the 成果／努力 of clicking together all their storylines so they can work as a team, but their chemistry when they do is a delight. It gives the film a fun and funny feel that plenty of the later Marvel movies have 目的（とする）d for but few have 達成するd, and its running time at 井戸／弁護士席 un der two hours is refreshingly 抑制するd. Don't 推定する／予想する all of it to make sense, but it's probably best not to worry too much about all that. Just sit 支援する and enjoy the きびきびした popcorn fun of it all. (105 mins)
Wonka
みごたえのある musical origin story for Roald Dahl's chocolatier

The first thing you should know about this Willy Wonka origin story is that it's a musical, because it's not obvious from the trailer. The second is that Timoth?e Chalamet 証明するs himself a pretty decent song-and-dance man as the quirky chocolatier, a character who, at this 早期に and 貧窮化した 行う／開催する／段階 of his life, is still 十分な of childlike wonder and 約束 in his fellow man. There are hints of the 不明瞭 of the 遺伝子 Wilder 業績／成果 in the 1971 film, but Chalamet's Wonka is mostly just lovely - clever with it, but mostly lovely.
Surrounding him is an incredible cast of familiar British 直面するs from Matt Lucas, Paterson Joseph and Mathew Baynton as the chocolate cartel Wonka hopes to impress, to Olivia Colman as a shifty innkeeper and Hugh 認める as a hilariously grumpy Oompa Loompa. 全体にわたる, this is the 肉親，親類d of old-school Hollywood みごたえのある that should work its 魔法 on the most 冷笑的な of audiences and, even if it doesn't, the movie's magical look and the sight of an orange-直面するd, 18in Hugh 認める are 価値（がある） the price of admission on their own. 利用できる to rent on Apple, アマゾン and Sky. It's from the director of Stan & Ollie, the BAFTA-指名するd Laurel & Hardy 演劇 with Steve Coogan, and features lots of lively little touches you probably won't 推定する／予想する - and we 港／避難所't even について言及するd the 役割 that Robert Maxwell plays in it all. Saucy, silly and crunchingly funny, this is a 完全に enjoyable grown-up comedy about teenage life that mocks and homages classic movies such as 復讐 Of The Nerds and The Breakfast Club in equal 手段. (91 minutes)
