(Reuters) - The value of ¸¦µæ and ³«È¯ undertaken in Britain each year could be more than 20 per cent higher than ¸«Àѡʤë¡Ës ¸½ºß¡¿°ìÈÌ¤Ë show, Áá´ü¤Ë findings from a ²þ¤¤¹¤ëd Office for ¹ñ²È¤Î Åý·×¡Ê³Ø¡Ë Ä´ºº¤¹¤ë showed on Monday.

The redeveloped ¾¦Çä¡¿»Å»ö ´ë¶È ¸¦µæ and ³«È¯ Ä´ºº¤¹¤ë ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ëd the ÎÌ of R&D in 2022 was ¡ò53billion, compared with an ¸ºß¤¹¤ëing ¸«Àѡʤë¡Ë of ¡ò43.4billion - a 22 per cent Áý²Ã¤¹¤ë.

"½é´ü¤Î ʬÀÏ has shown that the BERD Ä´ºº¤¹¤ë ²þÁ±¤¹¤ë ments could raise the level of ¸¦µæ and ³«È¯ within ¾¦Çä¡¿»Å»ö Åê»ñ and whole economy Åê»ñ," the ONS said.

(PA) - Grocery ÇÛã¡¿±éÀâ¡¿½Ð»º ²ñ¼Ò¡¿·ø¤¤ Getir is to leave the UK, Europe and the US to ¾ÇÅÀ¡Ê¤ò¹ç¤ï¤»¤ë¡Ë ñÆÈ¤Ç on its home market in Turkey, bringing an end to its Áᤤ ³ÈÂç across the ÃÏ°ès since the pandemic.

The company, once valued at ¡ò9.5billion, said it now only makes about 7% of its ºÐÆþ outside of Turkey after international growth ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës Ω¤Á±ýÀ¸¤µ¤»¤ëd.

The move is ¿äÄꤹ¤ë¡¿Í½ÁÛ¤¹¤ëd to bring about 1,500 ¿¦¶È losses in Britain.

'The ¼óÁê º÷°ú continues to µ¬ÌÏ new highs, where It will not have escaped the attention of international Åê»ñ²Ès that the UK remains Èæ³Ó¤·¤Æ cheap ¡¼¤Ë´Ø¤·¤Æ¡¿¡¼¤ÎÅÀ¤Çs of valuat ¥¤¥ª¥ó compared to most developed markets.

'Rising ʪ²Ás and ÆÃ¤Ë gold have ¾å¤²¤ëd large ÉôÌçs to be ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë within the ¼óÁê º÷°ú, while the ¿Æ² ¾ÚµòÉÔ½½Ê¬ of ±Ñ²ß¤Î¡¿½ã¶ä¤Î has been an Éղà ¾å¤²¤ë. Around 70% of FTSE100 ¼ýÆþs come from overseas, making them more profitable when translated »Ù±ç¤¹¤ë to ±Ñ²ß¤Î¡¿½ã¶ä¤Î.

'The º÷°ú has now Äɲ乤ëd 5.7% so far this year, with its Áªµó¸¢¤ò»ý¤Ä¡¿Áªµó¿Ís additionally ¶¡µë¤¹¤ëing an ÉáÄ̤Ρ¿Ê¿¶Ñ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë ¡Ê³ô¼ç¤Ø¤Î¡ËÇÛÅö »º¤¹¤ë¡¿À¸¤¸¤ë of 3.6% with the still undemanding valuation level ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ëing that ¤½¤Î¾å¤Î growth is indeed achievable.

Entain reprices ÂßÉÕ¶âs ¤Þ¤Ã¤¿¤ÀÃæ¤Ë ¤Æ¤³Æþ¤ì¡¿¼ÚÆþ»ñËÜ ´Ø¿´s

ÅÒ»öing group Entain has ¸ò¾Ä¤¹¤ëd the reepricing of two of its ¸ºß¤¹¤ëing ÂßÉÕ¶âs, as it Áܤ·½Ð¤¹s to °Â¿´¤µ¤»¤ë markets over its ÉéºÄ pile.

The group's ³ô have struggled over the last year as Åê»ñ²Ès fret Entain's high ¤Æ¤³Æþ¤ì¡¿¼ÚÆþ»ñËÜ, ƱÍÍ¤Ë as regulatory ´Ø¿´s.

Entain said it had shaved the Íø¤¶¤ä on a $1.74billion dollar-denominated ÂßÉն⠱߽Ϥ·¤¿ing in October 2029 by 75 basis points to 275bps. USD ¾Î¤¹¤ë¡¤¸Æ¤Ö¡¿´ü´Ö¡¿ÍѸì ÂßÉն⠱߽Ϥ·¤¿ing October 2029. The credit Ä´À° spread of 10bps was also ½üµî¤¹¤ëd

Entai n said: 'These refinancing ³èÆ°¡¿ÀïÆ®s are ÂáÊ᤹¤ë ÉéºÄ ÃæΩ¤Î, ²þÁ±¤¹¤ë the Group's liquidity by c¡ò295m, and ±äŤ¹¤ë the À®½Ï date of the Group's ÉéºÄ (¼è¤Ã¤ÆÂå¤ï¤ëing the bank ÂßÉÕ¶â ͽÄê 2026 with ¾Î¤¹¤ë¡¤¸Æ¤Ö¡¿´ü´Ö¡¿ÍѸì ÂßÉÕ¶âs ͽÄê 2028/2029).

'The ÂáÊ᤹¤ë ¾×·â of the re-pricing and Äɲ乤ë-on does not change the °ÊÁ° guided cash Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ costs for the ¸½ºß¤Î ºâÀ¯¾å¤Î year. However, with ·ÐºÑŪ¤Ê ͽ¬¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës ¼¨¤¹ing a slower Ψ of Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ Ψ ºï¸º, we are taking a more ÊݼéŪ¤Ê ¸«²ò¡Ê¤ò¤È¤ë¡Ë of Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ costs for the balance of the year.

'As a result, our ²þÄû¤¹¤ëd »ØƳ¡¿¼ê°ú for cash Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ for FY24 is now c¡ò265m5. The P&L Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ ¹ðȯ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¤¹ðÁʡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÎÁ¶â, adjusting for IFRS16 Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ and ÎÁ¶â amortisation6, is ¿äÄꤹ¤ë¡¿Í½ÁÛ¤¹¤ëd to be c¡ò285m.'
