Move over white, red and ros?, there's a new drink in town: Orange ワイン is sommeliers' hippest new tipple

Orange ワインs are the 最新の in ワイン jar gon - 追加するing a fourth colour to the ありふれた red, white and rose varieties.

The unusual ワインs - made with grapes, not citrus fruits - have been creeping into the vocabulary of the trendiest sommeliers of late, with their rarity a sure-解雇する／砲火／射撃 way to pique adventurous taste buds.

Formed by 許すing grape 肌s to macerate with freshly 鎮圧するd juice for longer than usual, 'orange' ワインs are in fact a sub-始める，決める of white ワインs - with rusty, 巡査 and 有望な orange トンs imparted to the white ワイン from the coloured 肌s.

Because of the juice's abnormally 長引かせるd 接触する with 肌, 深い pigment, tannins and astringency - red ワイン characterises - tend to define the autumn-hued ワイン.

Where ros? ワインs are made from red grapes with 肌s 除去するd, orange ワインs are essentially made by 逆転するing the 過程.

Perhaps typically associated with some 生産者s from Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia 地域, oranges are also made in Germany and Slovenia.

Rarity means that the ワインs, such as Long Island's Channing Daughters' 2008 Ramato Pinot Grigio, are on the expensive 味方する, starting at around $25 a 瓶／封じ込める in the U.S., though many retailers and restaurants are yet to 実験 with the unusual ワイン.
