Student accommodation on a 予算! 7 ways to make your halls your own

So you're off to university.

Maybe you've already moved into your halls of 住居 or your second year student digs.?

No 疑問 after a summer at home with all the cosy 慰安s that 伴う／関わるs, you'll be looking around your rather sparse, dreary and 潜在的に worn room wishing you were 支援する in your family house.

Making your college accommodation welcoming, warm and 非，不，無-depressing is easier (and cheaper) than you think.

Just a few clever touches will really make it feel like home and somewhere you 現実に want to spend your time.

So read on for 7 ways to decorate now...

1. Let there be light?

特に fairy lights. These pretty little bulbs are not just for Christmas. String them up against your 塀で囲む or over your bed, 絡まる them up and put them in a glass bowl or 勝利，勝つd them around 棚上げにするing and other furniture.

2. Comfy, cosy and 有望な

Lighting isn't the only way to brighten up a space.

4. Go green

So buy some gorgeous 青葉 to 許す the outside in a bit.

And they don't need to be 特に difficult to care for. Cacti are not only 平易な to cultivate but are on 傾向 too.

But if you're really not green fingered get the look with an 人工的な 工場／植物 instead.?

5. Bring friends and family with you

You may have left your parents, siblings and school friends 支援する home but they can still be with you.

Rather than keeping all your favourite photos of your loved ones on your phone and laptop, print some out and 陳列する，発揮する them in your student room.?

7. Upcycle and 再生利用する

Charity shops are a treasure trove of cheap but useful bits and pieces.

From 貯蔵 to 塀で囲む hangings and crockery to cushions, you can 道具 out your space and feel good about 再生利用するing.

And why not upcycle too?

Make 棚上げにするs from a 木造の stepladder painted in the colour of your choice. Then 陳列する，発揮する your cutest trinkets or use it to hang jewellery from.
