Figgy Honey Trifle

Simple, deliciously indulgent and 十分な of nutritious goodies. The fruit can be 変化させるd depending on what’s 甘い and 熟した on the day. You will need a 20cm 直径 x 6cm 深い trifle dish.

Serves 6

5 madeleines, eg Bonne Maman

2 tbsp Cointreau, Grand Marnier or amaretto

150g raspberries

3 figs, stalks trimmed, 4半期/4分の1d vertically and sliced

500g greek yogurt

2 tbsp runny honey

20g toasted chopped hazelnuts

icing sugar for dusting

  • Coarsely 崩壊する the madeleines over the base of the glass trifle dish. 霧雨 with the liqueur and scatter over the fruit.
  • Spoon the yogurt into a large bowl and 動かす until smooth. 霧雨 with honey and 倍の over once to streak it. Dollop this on the fruit and spread to almost the 辛勝する/優位 of the dish. Cover and 冷気/寒がらせる. Scatter with the hazelnuts and dust with icing sugar just before serving.
