Maoists kill six policemen and their 護衛s in Jharkhand 待ち伏せ／迎撃する

At least six policemen, 含むing Pakur superintendent of police Amarjit Balihar, were on Tuesday killed in a Maoist attack in Jharkhand's Dumka 地区.

Besides Balihar and other policemen, his driver Ashok Srivastav and 護衛s Chandan Kumar Thapa, Manoj Kumar Hembrom, Birendra Srivastava and Rajeev Kumar Sharma were also killed.

The four police 職員／兵員 負傷させるd in the attack have been identified as Santosh Mandal, N. Marandi, Bablu Murmu and D. Marayia.

The Amrapada 地域 has rece ntly 証言，証人／目撃するd a spurt in Maoist activities. In April, the 反逆者／反逆するs had たいまつd eight 乗り物s of a road construction company carrying out 開発 work in the area that hasn't seen 開発 for １０年間s.

Tuesday's attack comes more than a month after the Maoists 待ち伏せ／迎撃するd a 軍用車隊 of 上級の 議会 leaders in 部族の Bastar 地区 of Chhattisgarh, 殺人，大当り 27 people on May 25, 含むing 議会 leader Mahendra Karma on the 位置／汚点／見つけ出す.

明言する／公表する 議会 長，指導者 V.C. Shukla, who was 批判的に 負傷させるd in the attack, died a few days later.

Shocked by the Naxal attack, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha 長，指導者 Shibu Soren said: "This is not good for the 明言する／公表する. We are shocked by this."
