'This is a new 一時期／支部 in my life': Delhi Daredevils captain Kevin Pietersen looks to the 未来 as his team 準備する for IPL 2014

Kevin Pietersen's 旅行 in the world of cricket, spanning a １０年間, has taken him to glorious highs 同様に as dreadful lows in almost equal 手段.

Perhaps this is why the Delhi Daredevils captain prefers to talk about life in a philosophical manner, in contrast to past times.

Speaking to Mail Today on Tuesday, as he 乗る，着手するs on a fresh 旅行 after his England career （機の）カム to an abrupt end 地位，任命する his team's Ashes 敗北・負かす, Pietersen chose to 焦点（を合わせる） on his 近づいている challenges.

"This is a new 一時期／支部 in my life where I just want to go out and enjoy playing cricket. I don't play the game to make any point. I have played 104 実験（する） matches, in a career of 10 years, against every team and in almost every country. I have got an 適切な時期 to play in the IPL, a tournament where I love to play, and I want to do things that are best for my team," Pietersen said.

The 33-year-old batsman has the 追加するd 責任／義務 of captaining the 味方する which finished last in the 2013 版.

"It (captaincy) brings in a little bit of 圧力. But I have 扱うd 圧力 throughout my career. So, I am excited. It will be fun," said Pietersen, who will return to 競争の激しい cricket for the first time since January.

Pietersen feels that the long break that he got after 存在 dropped from the England squad will only help him now.

Graham Ford who is Surrey's coach is my 助言者 and it was good to train under him. I have 始める，決める high goals for myself for this tournament and I will play to the best of my abilities."

Pietersen has already met Daredevils coach Gary Kirsten to chalk out the 戦略 for this season.

"I went to Cape Town a couple of weeks ago and spent a day with Gary. He is a very relaxed guy. I went through the whole schedule. There is a lot of 運動 amongst us in the way we want to do things. We want players to give their best for the team," he said.

"We fully understand that at any point of time not everyone in the squad can play 井戸／弁護士席. And the least we can do is to not put 圧力 on them in those periods."

"I love the learning 過程 in these tournaments as players from different countries come together. You get to learn so much from the youngsters.
