No-勝利,勝つ, no-料金 会社/堅いs send car cover 急に上がるing

保険会社s want a 禁止(する) on referral 料金s ? where 詳細(に述べる)s of 可能性のある personal 傷害 claimants are sold to ‘救急車-chasing’ 法律 会社/堅いs ? after the 普通の/平均(する) cost of car 保険 急に上がるd to £1,000 a year.

The 政府 recently 発表するd 改革(する)s to 強化する the ru les in civil litigation. Higher numbers of personal 事故 (人命などを)奪う,主張するs through no-勝利,勝つ, no-料金 solicitors, 同様に as growing 詐欺, have been 非難するd for rising 保険 costs.

司法(官) 長官 Kenneth Clarke has 提案するd that claimants in nowin, no-料金 事例/患者s should no longer be able to recoup their 合法的な costs ? often more than the sum they are 捜し出すing in 損害賠償金 ? from the 被告. Instead claimants will have to 支払う/賃金 their lawyers’ ‘success’ 料金 themselves.

It is 推定する/予想するd that this could 阻止する many people from taking the litigation 大勝する after an 事故. It is the first major 精密検査する of the system since the 労働 政府 許すd the 回復 of success 料金s from 被告s in its 1999 接近 To 司法(官) 行為/法令/行動する.

No-勝利,勝つ, no-料金 lawyers will also be 制限するd in what they can say in adverts while referral 料金s ? paid by 法律 会社/堅いs to a third party, often a (人命などを)奪う,主張するs 管理/経営 company, for an ‘introduction’ to a possible claimant ? will either be scrapped or capped at £200.

?

The 協会 of British 保険会社s favours an 完全な 禁止(する). The 提案s come as a 調査する by 保険会社 LV= shows that nearly a third of adults ? 13.6 million ? have received an unsolicited text message or other form of 接触する from a (人命などを)奪う,主張するs company, 明言する/公表するing that they could be 借りがあるd money as a result of an 事故.

Almost one in ten 運転者s 収容する/認める they would consider 誇張するing an 保険 (人命などを)奪う,主張する while one million adults have invented or 誇張するd an 傷害 に引き続いて an 事故 to 利益 financially or to get time off work.

The 政府 wants to introduce 対策 that would encourage those 伴う/関わるd in an 事故 to make and 受託する reasonable 申し込む/申し出s. A 実験(する) could be introduced, for example, to 確実にする that 全体にわたる costs in a 事例/患者 are proportionate to the sum 存在 (人命などを)奪う,主張するd. Costs awarded would also be higher for those who 追求する a 事例/患者 without a lawyer.

政府 人物/姿/数字s show that the costs awarded to claimants’ solicitors were 同等(の) to just over half the 損害賠償金 their (弁護士の)依頼人s received, at 56 per cent in 1999. By 2004 their costs had risen to 103 per cent of the sums awarded and by last year the 普通の/平均(する) had 急に上がるd to 142 per cent.

The growth in 補償(金) culture has led to many 消費者s 存在 砲撃するd with unsolicited messages, such as the text pictured, 無作為に sent to millions of people ? the 広大な 大多数 of whom have not 苦しむd any sort of 事故. Some such messages are sent by no-勝利,勝つ, no-料金 会社/堅いs touting for 商売/仕事, but others are 詐欺s.

Hayley Hamilton from Croydon, south London, received just such a text message earlier this year. Hayley, 25, a self-雇うd dog walker, was told she could get £3,750 in 補償(金) after her ‘最近の 事故’ and 勧めるd her to call its number.

‘I hadn’t had an 事故 so I knew this was just a spam message,’ says Hayley, who is engaged to Neil Herbert, 28, an electrician. ‘But it was やめる an alarming message to receive.’

If Hayley had called the number, she might have been 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d for the call. She could also have been asked for cash 料金s upfront. In these types of scams it is ありふれた, once the 消費者 has paid, for the company to 消える. It means that those who have had an 事故 and who could (人命などを)奪う,主張する 補償(金) are at 危険.

Other 保険会社s usually let policyholders 追加する this cover on to a home or モーター 政策 for an extra 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金, typically about £25 on 最高の,を越す of the 賞与金.

ツバメ Milliner, technical (人命などを)奪う,主張するs director at 保険会社 LV=, says: ‘If you have a 合法的 (人命などを)奪う,主張する, you need the best 質 合法的な advice possible and should be 用心深い of companies that 接触する you out of the blue.

'These companies are 追求するing you for their own ends and may not 代表する you in the way you would like.’
