Pet hates on Bonfire Night

PET OWNERS should be thinking about steps they can take に向かって 保護するing their animals as Bonfire Night approaches.

In October and November last year, 682 pets were 害（を与える）d by 花火s and many more were lost.

Gev Lynott, director of ASDA 財政上の Services, says, 'Dogs an d other pets hate 花火s and often make a run for it. Many dog owners have undergone a frantic search for their prized pooch when it has escaped from the garden to 逃げる the noise of 花火s.

'While you're warming yourself by the bonfire, marvelling at the ロケット／急騰するs and the Catherine wheels, spare a thought for your pet.'

Asda 財政上の Services have 問題／発行するd a 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） of 警戒s pet-owners can take to make the night pass as comfortably as possible for their animals:

? Fasten all doors and windows and draw the curtains to keep your pets as 安全な as possible during 花火s.

? Ignore your cat or dog if they try to hide, trying to tempt them out could 原因（となる） more 強調する／ストレス.

? Perhaps 準備する a den for your pets with their favourite toy or favourite 一面に覆う／毛布.

? Pets have 極度の慎重さを要する ears, so play music or switch on the television to 溺死する out noise from 花火s.

? Make sure your dog or cat has a collar or tag, in 事例／患者 they run away.

? 演習ing your dog 井戸／弁護士席 during the day to 確実にする it is tired and ready to sleep in the evening.

? Small pets living outside must also not be forgotten - rabbits and guinea pigs can become very 強調する／ストレスd by loud noises. Bring them indoors or in to the garden shed.

Only 12% of the UK's dogs and cats have any sort of 保険 against illness or 傷害. Cost and the 複雑さ of 計画（する）s and 政策 制限s can put people off insuring their pets.

Many 保険会社s 課す cash 限界s on 治療s or 辞退する to cover a particular 条件 for more than 12 months. And many will not cover pets over a 確かな age, though some will agree to continue cover that was already in place.

賞与金s can be 減ずるd by agreeing to 支払う／賃金 a higher 超過 or a 百分率 of the cost of 治療. And （人命などを）奪う，主張するing may result in a higher 賞与金 next year.

Asda's pet 保険 covers animals who have been lost, stolen or who have 逸脱するd and can't be 設立する, and 含むs £1,000 of cover for advertising lo cally about a lost pet. You can elect to have this cover 追加するd to their 基準 政策.

Richard Mason, director of insuresupermarket.com, an online service that compares 賞与金s, says: 'We'd 勧める people to beware 誤って導くing 指名するs such as Gold or 最高の as they can be inferior to another provider's 基準 cover.'

Insuresupermarket points to Sainsbury's 基準 計画（する） as one of the bestvalue 政策s. 賞与金s start at £3.95 a month for a young cat or £6.25 for an eight-year-old, and about £10 for a dog.
