Time to tie the knot?

MY PARTNER and I are 老年の 63 and 56, still working and unmarried. What are the プロの/賛成のs and 反対/詐欺s from a 課税 point of 見解(をとる) before we retire? My partner owns 所有物/資産/財産 valued at £110,000 with £13,000 mortgage remaining. I earn £9,000 pa. CB, Kingswinford.

Maurice Fitzpatrick at accountant Numerica says: Your 所得税 pos ition will be no different if you are married or not.

As far as 相続物件 税金 is 関心d, if either of you has an 広い地所 価値(がある) over £255,000 and wants to leave at least £255,000 to the other, getting married will mean you 利益 from the IHT 控除 for gifts between spouses. This does not 適用する to unmarried couples.

資本/首都 伸び(る)s 税金 (CGT) 支配するs favour the unmarried. If each of you has a 所有物/資産/財産 that is not let, as 選び出す/独身 people you get two lots of owner-occupier CGT 控除. Once you are married you will only get one (though by the sound of your question you only have one 所有物/資産/財産). Some 支配するs favour the married, some the unmarried.
