TONY HETHERINGTON: Couple's 強調する/ストレス 'beyond belief' over timeshare

J.H.令状s: We believe we have lost our money to a sham 取引,協定 that started in 2009 when we sent £7,500 to London accountant Sochalls for its (弁護士の)依頼人, Club Class International (CCI).

This was a 料金 to get rid of a timeshare we have owned at Benalmadena in southern Spain for more than 15 years.

In 2010 CCI did 支払う/賃金 the 年次の 維持/整備 料金 for our timeshare, but in 2011 we received a 需要・要求する for that year’s 料金s of £998 and 試みる/企てるs to 接触する CCI failed.

Millstone: Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol

Millstone: Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol

We were later told the owner of CCI had died and that the 行為s for our apartment ha d been passed to International Timeshare Refund 活動/戦闘 (ITRA). My wife and I are in our 70s and the 強調する/ストレス and 苦悩 this has 原因(となる)d us is beyond belief.

What a can of worms. In the first place, you dealt with a company called 橋(渡しをする) 見解(をとる) 顧問s ? and if this is starting to sound familiar, it is because I wrote about this company, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, just a month ago.

It had been 的ing people whose timeshare had turned into a millstone 一連の会議、交渉/完成する their neck, and was 招待するing them to 会合s to hear about ITRA, which was said to be putting together a 合法的な 活動/戦闘 over 申し立てられた/疑わしい timeshare mis-selling.

But the 会合s turned out to be a sales pitch for 会員の地位 of a Spanish-based holiday 割引 計画/陰謀 called Club Class Concierge. 支払う/賃金 a 料金 to CCI, you were told, and you would get 会員の地位 of the 計画/陰謀 加える your unwanted timeshare would be taken off your 手渡すs and the 年次の 料金s would end.

Of course, this has not happened. First of all you were told CCI had 崩壊(する)d because its owner had died. But this did not begin to explain where your money had gone.

Then last month the Insolvency Service won High 法廷,裁判所 orders to 勝利,勝つd up seven companies under the Club Class umbrella, 含むing 橋(渡しをする) 見解(をとる) 顧問s. Nonetheless, Club Class in Spain still 存在するs, but it washed its 手渡すs of 責任/義務 for Club Class International, which you paid. It 述べるd CCI as ‘an 独立した・無所属 distributor’ 登録(する)d in the Seychelles, and told me: ‘In the world of 商売/仕事 there are always 財政上の 災害s.’

And as if it was some sort of なぐさみ, Club Class 保証するd me you and your wife were 登録(する)d as members of the holiday 割引 計画/陰謀. But you are still 板材d with your unwanted Benalmadena times hare, and the 年次の 料金s have now risen to £1,251. On 最高の,を越す of this, you had to borrow the £7,500 you sent to Sochalls to pass on to CCI, and 返済s are £181 a month.

In short, after 信用ing 橋(渡しをする) 見解(をとる), you have ended up worse off and with 会員の地位 of the Club Class 計画/陰謀 you would never さもなければ have joined. And 橋(渡しをする) 見解(をとる) was 長,率いるd by expat Andrew Cooper, who is also one of the bosses of Club Class. Small world.

The final word to me from Club Class in Spain is that the company running the Benalmadena timeshare 開発 拒絶するd an 試みる/企てる to 移転 your timeshare to a new owner. The best Club Class could 申し込む/申し出 was to try again to 配置する/処分する/したい気持ちにさせる of it through ITRA, which itself has a 疑わしい 記録,記録的な/記録する and is an 沖合いの/海外の company. The tentacles of the Club Class octopus reach a surprisingly long way.

Although 橋(渡しをする) 見解(をとる) has been shut 負かす/撃墜する by the 法廷,裁判所s, new sales companies have sprung up that also 約束 to get rid of unwanted timeshare apartments. Take 約束s with a pinch of salt and keep your 手渡す on your wallet.

Who’s your phantom film 選挙立会人?

Mrs S.B. 令状s: I noticed my Barclays account had been overdrawn for two months so I queried this and 設立する that £24.95 has been taken out of each month by reelhd.com. I have no knowledge of any 処理/取引 with this 会社/堅い and I tried to 取り消す the 支払い(額)s but Barclays said I could not do this as the 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s were made through my debit card.

ReelHD is an American-owned internet movie company that 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s? a 正規の/正選手 料金 for 接近 to films. You have been 支払う/賃金ing a 月毎の subscription since September last year , 明らかに under what is called a continuous 支払い(額) 当局 linked to your Barclays Bank debit card number.

ReelHD in the US was refreshingly helpful when I made 接触する and quickly 設立する the 初めの subscription 使用/適用. It shows your card number and your surname, but a different first 指名する, so it is possible that someone の近くに to you has misused your card, or that someone の近くに to your family has misused both your card and the 指名する of a 親族. An 平等に big 問題/発行する is that whoever told you that 支払い(額)s could not be stopped was just plain wrong.

財政上の Mail recently 最高潮の場面d problems 直面するd by bank 顧客s who had tried to 捨てる a continuous 支払い(額) 当局 and been told that only the 会社/堅い collecting the cash could call a 停止(させる).

After I 接触するd ReelHD and Barclays, the bank put a 封鎖する on any more 支払い(額)s and your account is 存在 credited with just over £324, which is the? 量 paid to ReelHD since last year.

Mystery of a 10-year 負債 and 陳謝 from Amex

S.H.令状s: In September? last year American 表明する started sending me 声明s showing I 借りがあるd £133 on an Amex card with a credit 限界 of £4,400. As I had no knowledge of this 負債 I called Amex and was told the 負債 was some ten years old.?

I asked why, if this were the 事例/患者, Amex had left 事柄s for so long before 問題/発行するing a 声明, and why it would 認める £4,400 credit to anyone who had been in 負債 for a 10年間. I was 関心d that the card may have been 得るd fraudulently, and 結局 Amex wrote to? me last April apologising and 確認するing that the 負債 had been cancelled. Now though, the 需要・要求するs have s tarted to arrive again.

I asked Amex a number? of questions. What was the 推論する/理由 for the ten-year? 延期する in 問題/発行するing a 需要・要求する? for the £133?

Could I see a copy of the 調印するd form 開始 the card account, to check whether the 署名 matched yours?

Was the account opened with your 現在の 演説(する)/住所, and if not, how did Amex? 跡をつける you 負かす/撃墜する and decide that you are the SH who? 借りがあるs the money?

After several weeks of? to-ing and fro-ing, Amex? now says: ‘We 心から apologise to Mr H for any inconvenience 原因(となる)d by sending him 声明s on? a の近くにd account, which? was 負かす/撃墜する to an 孤立するd system error.

‘We would like to 安心させる him that the glitch has been fully 解決するd, so he will? not receive any その上の 声明s from us on this account and his credit 率ing has not been 影響する/感情d by this throughout.

‘We would like to thank? Mr H for his time and patience while we brought this 事柄 to a の近くに.’

All of which is 罰金, of course, but fails to answer a 選び出す/独身 question that I asked.

We're watching you

The chickens have come home to roost? for a lawyer I 警告するd against as long ago as 2005. Middlesbrough solicitor Donald O’Rourke has been 宣言するd 破産者/倒産した at Newcastle upon Tyne 郡 法廷,裁判所.

This follows 活動/戦闘 in April by the Solicitors 規則 当局, which led to? a 法廷 けん責(する),戒告ing him and ordering him to 支払う/賃金 £1,977 costs for failing to 支払う/賃金 賞与金s on 保険 to 保護する (弁護士の)依頼人s.

The 法廷 heard O’Rourkes Solicitors had の近くにd. I n 2005, O’Rourke paid? a 財政上の Mail reader £5,000 to settle a mortgage mis-selling (民事の)告訴.

He had been operating an 保険 機関 without authorisation, which meant policyholders were unable to (人命などを)奪う,主張する from the 財政上の Services 補償(金) 計画/陰謀 when things went wrong.
