Lost for words... the 基金 bosses who put YOUR cash in Russia: Some 持つ／拘留する far bigger 火刑／賭けるs than many 投資家s may think, says JEFF PRESTRIDGE

Jeff Prestridge has been trying to 質問（する） 基金 経営者／支配人s whose 投資家s are ひどく exposed to Russia - or whose 投資家s may not realise how much they are - he relates his often 失望させるing experience.

Rather than send out 安心させるing messages to 投資家s ? from whom they have made handsome 利益（をあげる）s over the years ? they become tongue tied.?Most disappear into their Mayfair offices and wait for the tide to turn. 臆病な／卑劣な.

It happened in the 株式市場 衝突，墜落 of 1987 ? and it occurred again after the bursting of the dotcom 泡 in 早期に 2000.?

Things weren't much better in March 2020 when lockdowns ground the world economy to a 停止（させる） ? although some 経営者／支配人s were 勇敢に立ち向かう enough to talk about the need not to panic (and were subsequently 証明するd 権利).?

This time around, the 株式市場 大虐殺 is more 含む／封じ込めるd, although there are some who believe 全世界の 公正，普通株主権s are 長，率いるing fo r a car 衝突，墜落.?

A result of roaring インフレーション, 立ち往生させるing economies and the elephant in the room ? 全世界の 衝突. Friday's sharp market 是正 示唆するs they may 井戸／弁護士席 be 権利.?

The real 炉心溶融 has been in Russia where 株 貿易（する）ing has been 停止（させる）d. Of course, Russia isn't a market most 投資家s would 故意に 投資する in.?

Although there are 非常に／多数の ロシアの 基金s run by 設立するd 投資 経営者／支配人s ? the likes of JPMorgan, Pictet and Liontrust ? there are 投資家s who won't realise they 持つ／拘留する 基金s with 重要な （危険などに）さらす to ロシアの oil companies, 採掘 商売／仕事s and banks.?

As the box above 論証するs, some of these 基金s have 現れるing market labels with 大臣の地位s very much built on the BRIC 原則 ? 重要な 火刑／賭けるs in the markets of Brazil, Russia, India and 中国.?

Although 中国 is the 支配的な 軍隊 in most 現れるing market 大臣の地位s, some 基金s have 二塁打-digit or 近づく 二塁打-digit （危険などに）さらす to Russia. While some have 減ずるd?（危険などに）さらす or shorted the ロシアの market (bet on it 落ちるing), the shortterm performa nce numbers do not make for pleasant reading.?

Then there are the 基金s with an Eastern European 投資 slant. Some have more than 60 per cent of their 大臣の地位s in ロシアの 在庫／株s. The 業績／成果 numbers here are dreadful. Losses over three months, a year and five years. And I'm not sure things are going to get better quickly.?

For the past 11 days, as the Russsian 戦車／タンクs rolled into Europe, I've been asking 投資 companies with 基金s 投資するd in ロシアの 在庫／株s how they ーするつもりである to 保護（する）／緊急輸入制限 投資家s' 資産s.?

Some have been helpful, others have pulled up the drawbridge.

For example, Liontrust runs a ロシアの 基金. The 最新の factsheet 確認するs 資産s of £182million 投資するd across 26 companies.?

Eleven days ago, I asked what it was doing to 確実にする 投資家s' holdings were pr otected. 'When do you need a comment by?' （機の）カム 支援する the 返答. 'PM tomorrow,' I replied. Silence followed ? the lion failed to roar. Five days ago, I received a 声明 説 the 基金 had been 一時停止するd. It was as if our communications had not happened. The 基金's value is now below £17million.?

At least other 基金 経営者／支配人s told me straight. 'JPMorgan 資産 管理／経営 拒絶する／低下するs to comment,' was the 返答 when I enquired about 基金 JPMorgan ロシアの 安全s. On Friday, its 株 continued their?downward 跡をつける with two directors quitting the 信用's board.?

投資 管理／経営 companies will 生き残る whatever markets throw at them in the coming weeks. They're lucrative 商売／仕事s to be in. But they need to show they care and have a heart.?

That means doing their 最大の to 保護する 投資家s' money. It also means communicating and where possible 安心させるing 投資家s. Surely, it's not too much to ask?
