Midas Extra 株 tips: Bglobal, Kalahari Minerals

?

The 株式市場 has not had a good week. 経済学者s and other commentators have been 説 the worst of the 後退,不況 is behind us but 仲買人s and 投資家s remain jittery about the pace of 回復. Many 最高の,を越す American companies are publishing 人物/姿/数字s for March to June in the next fortnight and there are 恐れるs these will be disappointing. Whatever the news is - good or bad - there will be 必然的な repercussions for British 商売/仕事s.

Bglobal

Epic: BGBL

Some companies, as ever, are more resilient than others. Bglobal, for example, has had its 財政/金融ing 計画(する)s 影響する/感情d the credit crunch but the group's 核心 製品 is so attractive that it has ridden out the 嵐/襲撃する and should now be able to 力/強力にする ahead.

The company is 開拓するing a new way of 手段ing gas and electricity 消費, which could save individuals and companies 抱擁する 量s of money and help them use いっそう少なく energy at the same time.

For 10年間s, almost everyone in Britain has 手段d the 量 of gas and electricity they use 経由で いわゆる 'dumb' メーターs. They are known as dumb because they do nothing. They have to be read, usually by someone from the gas or electricity company, and if they are not read, 法案s are 概算の, often for several years.

Bglobal sells smart メーターs, which do not need to be read on 場所/位置 but can tell 消費者s how much gas or electricity they are using at any hour of the day or night. The メーターs work using 科学(工学)技術 類似の to 動きやすい phone. They are connected to a central database, managed by Bglobal and they have already been 可決する・採択するd by 30,000 商売/仕事s, 含むing Vodafone, Mothercare and Boots. 惑星, the 電気の retailer, 削除するd energy 消費 by 14% when it switched to smart メーターs and its costs were 減ずるd プロの/賛成の rata. The company realised that lots of 器具s were l eft running all night at its 蓄える/店s, mostly unnecessarily. 簡単に turning off computers, televisions and the like saved the 商売/仕事 a fortune.

Smart メーターs are more expensive than their dumb 相当するものs, so they were a 高級な used only by the largest companies in Britain . But by 2014, the 政府 has said that all companies above a 確かな size will need to have them 任命する/導入するd and by 2020, 政治家,政治屋s would like every 世帯 in the UK to have one.

The 合理的な/理性的な is (疑いを)晴らす. Electricity prices change every half an hour and smart メーターs 許す 使用者s to 監視する their usage on a minute by minute basis 経由で 特に-建設するd pages on the internet. This means people can work out 正確に/まさに how much energy they are using and the best way to 削減(する) 負かす/撃墜する - saving money and saving the 惑星.

For smaller 商売/仕事s and individuals, the メーターs will be 任命する/導入するd by big electricity and gas companies - Bglobal is already working with major providers such as Npower, British Gas and Scottish & Southern Energy. Large companies can either 得る their メーターs from these energy groups or 直接/まっすぐに from Bglobal.

The company joined 目的(とする) two years ago but 攻撃する,衝突する a rough patch last year, when the credit crunch put a stop to a 財政/金融ing 協定 it had over メーター 取り付け・設備. Last week however, 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Tony Barnes 発表するd a new を取り引きする Barclays. This will 許す Bglobal to roll out 50,000 metres over the coming months. Barclays is 初めは 供給するing £15 million but 分析家s believe that, if the メーター 取り付け・設備s go によれば 計画(する), more money will be made 利用できる, 許すing Bglobal to 拡大する still その上の.

Midas 判決: Bglobal 株 fell as low as 8p earlier this year, as it sought out a 強健な 財政上の 取引,協定. The 取引,協定 has now been 調印するd and the company is 支援する on 跡をつける. Bglobal has been loss-making until now and 人物/姿/数字s for the year to March 2009 are 推定する/予想するd to continue that 傾向 with pre-税金 losses of around £4 million. But the next two years sh ould be transformational for Bglobal. 分析家s believe the group will at least break even next year and will definitely 配達する 利益(をあげる)s in 2011, if not sooner. The 株 are 現在/一般に 貿易(する)ing at 18p but, if the 科学(工学)技術 continues to 配達する, the price should rise 意味ありげに. Buy and 持つ/拘留する.

Kalahari Minerals

Epic: KAH

Kalahari Minerals has had an 驚くべき/特命の/臨時の year. Tipped by Midas Extra in February at 43p, the 株 had risen to 112p by May, leaving some 投資家s wondering whether to やめる while they were ahead. Since then, however, the 在庫/株 has continued to 嵐/襲撃する ahead and it is now standing at 128p, に引き続いて excellent news 解放(する)d last week.

Kalahari 地雷s 巡査 and lead in Namibia but its main attraction is a 40% 火刑/賭ける in an Australian company, 抽出する 資源s, which has 広範囲にわたる ウラン 利益/興味s in the African country.

支援する in February, 抽出する 明らかにする/漏らすd a 抱擁する ウラン find at its 重要な 地雷 in Namibia , Rossing South. Last week, the company said it had underestimated these reserves by 36%. Most 採掘 companies 約束 more than they 配達する but 抽出する is doing the opposite and next month, it is 推定する/予想するd to 解放(する) その上の sparkling data from Rossing.

抽出する's 発見s are some of the largest 設立する by ウラン 鉱夫s in years and ウラン is ますます in 需要・要求する, as a 重要な 構成要素 of 核の energy, once shunned but now 受託するd as a greener 代案/選択肢 to 化石 燃料s. City 仲買人s are 極端に enthusiastic about Kalahari as it 申し込む/申し出s London 投資家s 平易な 接近 to a ウラン story that has already 証明するd rewarding and should continue to 配達する.

Midas 判決: Kalahari 株 have almost 3倍になるd in six months and 投資家s should really sell half their 在庫/株 to bank some of this 驚くべき/特命の/臨時の 伸び(る). But 支持者s of the company believe the 株 deserve to 攻撃する,衝突する 170p in the 近づく 未来 so hang on to some 在庫/株 and enjoy the ride.
