Tesco shrugs off 落ちるing prices

UK sales are 選ぶing up at Tesco, にもかかわらず a slip in prices. The country's biggest supermarket 解除するd like-for-like UK sales 3.8% in the third ４半期/4分の1 to 16 November, from 3.4% in the 先行する period.

But Tesco credited higher 容積／容量s, ahead 4.2%, which 相殺する a 'deflationary s etting' - that is, lower selling prices.

International growth fell short of market 期待s. The company, which operates in 10 countries, said its international sales growth was 29%, in line with its 計画（する）s, meaning total group sales rose 10.5%.

However, some 分析家s had 予測（する） overseas growth of up to 45% and the 予期しない 減産／沈滞 could disappoint 投資家s. 'Maybe 45% was a bit rich, but we certainly didn't 推定する／予想する it to begin with a 2,' said one 分析家.
