競争 恐れるs over Centrica buy

COMPETITION regulators today 表明するd serious 関心s over Centrica's £304m 引き継ぎ／買収 of Britain's biggest gas 貯蔵 施設 まっただ中に 恐れるs that it is 再構築するing its old British Gas empire.

The 取引，協定 to buy the 場所／位置 in the exhausted Rough North Sea gas field from troubled US group Dynegy was あられ／賞賛するd by Centrica as a 決定的な plank in its ability to 申し込む／申し出 柔軟な gas 供給（する） to its 顧客s.

St orage space is needed to build up 備蓄（する）s during the summer months to use during the 頂点（に達する） winter period. But Ofgem today said the 取引，協定 was '推定する／予想するd to give rise to a 相当な 少なくなるing of 競争'.

The regulator is 特に 関心d about Centrica's 所有権 of both Rough and another major 貯蔵 場所／位置, the Morecambe fields. It pointed out that when Dynegy bought Rough, it 申し込む／申し出d to make all the capacity 利用できる to 競争相手s in the market on 非，不，無-差別的な 条件. Centrica has 申し込む／申し出d only 70% to the market. Centrica's 所有権 of the 貯蔵 場所／位置 would also give it 接近 to confidential （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） on its 競争相手s in areas such as 卸売 gas 貿易（する）ing.

にもかかわらず the 厳しい トン of Ofgem's 声明 in its 開始 協議 paper today, Centrica said the 関心s were 'not 予期しない, 追加するing: 'We 推定する／予想する to agree undertakings to 打ち勝つ any 可能性のある 関心s.'
