A CAMPAIGN to help 消費者s make sense of 財政上の jargon was has been 開始する,打ち上げるd after two-thirds of people said they 設立する 財政上の 製品s too difficult to understand.

The move by the 財政上の Services 当局 (FSA) 目的(とする)s to help people manage their money more 効果的に by overco ming their 恐れる of mortgages, ISAs and 株 取引,協定ing.

The group is 分配するing around 200,000 copies of its new booklet, You and Your Money, at 1,400 地位,任命する offices across the country, 勧めるing people to shop around for 製品s and ask questions about anything they do not understand.

A 調査する carried out by the FSA 設立する that 64% of people said they 設立する 財政上の 製品s too 複雑にするd, while 70% said they did not know enough about them to make the 権利 choice.

More than one in four people also said they would be nervous about seeing a 財政上の 助言者 for help.

The FSA 設立する that around a third of those questioned said they were put off sorting out their 財政/金融s, while 46% said they could not be bothered.

Christine Farnish, director of the FSA's 消費者 分割, said: 'If people are to make 知らせるd choices and manage their 財政上の 事件/事情/状勢s more 効果的に, we need to 改善する 消費者 認識/意識性.'

While most people believed they understood 貯金 accounts and life 保証/確信, 31% 設立する mortgages 複雑にするd, and only 23% thought 公正,普通株主権 ISAs were straightforward.
