財務省 始める，決める for U-turn

The 政府 is 始める，決める to 棚上げにする 計画（する）s to 削減（する） 明言する／公表する 年金 利益s paid to 未亡人s, it has been 報告（する）／憶測d.

Under previous 計画（する）s, the husband or wife of anyone in the 明言する／公表する 収入 関係のある 年金s 計画／陰謀 (Serps) would have seen their payout more than halved if their partner died after April next year.

The 普通の／平均（する） 未亡人's 利益 would have gone 負かす／撃墜する from £33 a week to £12 under a 計画（する）, introduced in 1986 but little publicised, to 削減（する） the cost of Serps.
