VIRGIN MOBILE today 確認するd a 引き継ぎ／買収 approach from cable 巨大（な） NTL in a move which could create a major competitor to Rupert Murdoch's BSkyB.

NTL, in the throes of 合併するing with 競争相手 Telewest, said today it would 申し込む／申し出 323p cash or 0.09298 of its own 株 for every Virgin 動きやすい株.

Branson said he is likely to take the 大多数 of his 火刑／賭ける in 株, but reserves the 権利 to take a small 部分 of his consideration in cash.

Because of Virgin 動きやすい's 一般に young 顧客 profile there is little overlap between the 顧客 base of the companies. NTL has used Virgin branding for its internet and broadband offerings for the last nine years.
